LOOK || More than just a friendly pickleball competition, this gathering was a celebration of wellness, camaraderie, and family bonding among the personnel of the Office of the Provincial Fire Marshal – Zamboanga del Norte under the supervision of FSUPT RICHARD C TIMOSA, DSC, Acting Provincial Fire Marshal.

Away from the usual demands of the workplace, our personnel had the chance to stay active, enjoy a little friendly competition, and create meaningful moments together—with their families joining in the fun.

Because wellness is not only about staying physically fit—it is also about building stronger relationships, relieving stress, and creating a supportive and happy workplace family.

Every rally brought laughter, every game strengthened camaraderie, and every moment reminded us that a healthy team is a stronger team.

RETIREMENT HONORS | SFO4 ARNEL C. LADAG
01 September 2026 - The Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) Zamboanga del Norte proudly honored the 27 years of dedicated and selfless service of SFO4 Arnel C. Ladag (Ret.), Acting Municipal Fire Marshal of Manukan Municipal Fire Station, during his Retirement Honors held today at Valdia Gardens, Sicayab, Dipolog City.

The ceremony formally recognized his years of faithful service through the Reading of the Retirement Order, Awarding of the Medalyang Paglilingkod (Service Award) and Honorary Badge, and the Reading of the Citation for the Retirement Badge—a fitting tribute to a career marked by professionalism, integrity, and commitment to the fire service and the Filipino people.

The program also featured an audio-visual presentation of his journey in the BFP, testimonial messages, and heartfelt words from FSUPT RICHARD C TIMOSA, DSC, Acting Provincial Fire Marshal, BFP-ZDN, recognizing SFO4 Ladag’s invaluable contributions throughout his years of service.

Surrounded by fellow firefighters, colleagues, family, relatives, and friends, SFO4 Ladag closes this chapter of his career with honor and dignity, leaving behind a legacy of service, dedication, and commitment to public safety.

As he begins a new journey beyond the fire service, the BFP Zamboanga del Norte family extends its deepest gratitude for his 27 years of faithful service.

Nakikiisa ang Bureau of Fire Protection Region 9 sa ilalim ng pamumuno ni FSSUPT KADIL T ACALUL, DSC, Acting Regional Director sa paggunita ng Pambansang Araw ng mga Bayani.

Ngayong araw, ating parangalan ang mga bayaning nag-alay ng kanilang lakas, panahon at buhay para sa kapwa at sa bayang sinilangan.

Sa bawat sakripisyo, may kuwentong hindi malilimutan. Sa bawat tapang, may buhay na naililigtas. At sa bawat taong handang magsilbi para sa bayan—naroon ang tunay na bayani.

Saludo ang BFP Region 9 sa lahat ng BAYANI ng ating bayan.

35TH BFP ANNIVERSARY | 1ST SEMESTER COMMAND CONFERENCE - BFP IX

Noong Agosto 27, 2026, matagumpay na isinagawa ng BFP Region IX, sa pamumuno ni Regional Director FSSUPT KADIL T ACALUL, DSC, ang 35th Anniversary Culmination Ceremony sa Provincial Capitol Atrium, Ipil Heights, Ipil, Zamboanga Sibugay.

Dumalo si FSUPT RICHARD C TIMOSA, DSC, Acting Provincial Fire Marshal ng BFP Zamboanga del Norte, kasama ang mga Fire Marshals mula sa iba’t ibang fire stations ng lalawigan.

Sa nasabing seremonya, muling nagningning ang pangalan ng BFP Zamboanga del Norte matapos makamit ang mga sumusunod na parangal:

Ang mga parangal na ito ay bunga ng dedikasyon, pagkakaisa, at walang sawang paglilingkod ng ating mga personnel para sa kaligtasan ng bawat Zamboangueño.

Samantala, isinagawa rin ang 1st Semester Command Conference, kung saan tinalakay ang mga accomplishment, issues and concerns, at mga plano ng bawat lalawigan para sa mga susunod na buwan.

Sa mensahe ni FSSUPT KADIL T ACALUL, DSC, kanyang pinasalamatan at kinilala ang kolektibong pagsisikap ng lahat ng personnel ng BFP Region IX na naging bahagi ng mga tagumpay at pagkilalang natanggap ng rehiyon, kabilang ang mga nationwide awards mula sa BFP National Headquarters.

Bawat parangal ay hindi lamang medalya—ito ay patunay ng serbisyong may puso, tapang, at dedikasyon.
