Strengthening Assessment Practices at Olingan Senior High School Stand Alone-OSHSSA ✨

Our faculty continues to grow together through back-to-back Learning Action Cell (LAC) sessions on Aligning Classroom and National Assessment.

These sessions are very timely as we prepare for the upcoming First Term Examination. By aligning classroom assessments with national standards, teachers are empowered to design valid and reliable tables of specification and test questions that truly reflect learner competencies.

This initiative ensures that our assessments are not only consistent with DepEd’s framework but also serve as powerful tools to guide instruction, provide meaningful feedback, and improve student learning outcomes.

As we continue to strengthen our commitment to the well-being of our learners, teachers, and school personnel, we are grateful for the acquisition of a metal detector, a valuable tool that will help enhance security measures within our school and promote a culture of safety and vigilance.

Olingan Senior High School Stand Alone conducted its second Learning Action Cell (LAC) Session with the theme, “Deepening Instruction through Unpacking of Learning Competencies.” The session provided an avenue for professional collaboration and reflection, enhancing teachers' understanding of learning competencies to ensure more effective, focused, and learner-centered instruction.

We extend our sincere appreciation to Mr. Isaac Hiolem, our Resource Speaker, for his valuable insights and expertise that enriched this learning engagement. We also commend all teachers for their full participation and commitment to continuous professional growth in pursuit of quality education for every learner.

History Made! 🌟

The First-Ever Intramural Meet of Olingan Senior High School Stand Alone, held on July 24–25, 2026, was a resounding success!

This landmark event brought together our learners in a celebration of sportsmanship, teamwork, discipline, unity, and excellence. As we made history, we witnessed not only athletic performances but also the spirit of camaraderie and school pride that defines the Olingan SHS community.
