ɴᴀᴛɪᴏɴᴀʟ ʙᴏᴏᴋ ᴡᴇᴇᴋ 2025: ᴅᴀʏ 1 ᴅᴜᴍᴘ 📚✨

The 𝑵𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏𝒂𝒍 𝑩𝒐𝒐𝒌 𝑾𝒆𝒆𝒌 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓 officially kicked off today, filling the campus with excitement and marking a great start to a week full of fun and brain-boosting activities!

The morning contests featured the 𝑺𝒑𝒆𝒍𝒍𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝑩𝒆𝒆 and 𝑸𝒖𝒊𝒛 𝑩𝒆𝒆, where contestants really put their minds to the test, showcasing quick thinking and unwavering focus from start to finish. ✍️📖

In the afternoon, the atmosphere shifted to the creative side as contestants took on the 𝑬𝒔𝒔𝒂𝒚 𝑾𝒓𝒊𝒕𝒊𝒏𝒈, 𝑩𝒐𝒈𝒈𝒍𝒆 𝑺𝒄𝒓𝒂𝒃𝒃𝒍𝒆, 𝑫𝒊𝒈𝒊𝒕𝒂𝒍 𝑷𝒐𝒔𝒕𝒆𝒓 𝑴𝒂𝒌𝒊𝒏𝒈, and 𝑺𝒍𝒐𝒈𝒂𝒏 𝑴𝒂𝒌𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝑪𝒐𝒏𝒕𝒆𝒔𝒕𝒔. It was an afternoon filled with artistry, creative sparks, and a remarkable showcase of each student’s skills. 🤩🌟

Celebrating the 91st National Book Week ❤️

ɴᴀᴛɪᴏɴᴀʟ ʙᴏᴏᴋ ᴡᴇᴇᴋ 2025: ᴛᴜʟᴀʏ ᴀɴɢ ᴘᴀɢʙᴀsᴀ sᴀ ʙᴜᴋᴀs ɴᴀ ᴘᴜɴᴏ ɴɢ ᴘᴀɢ-ᴀsᴀ 📚

A simple theme but if there’s anything stories have taught us, it’s that simple things often carry the 𝒈𝒓𝒆𝒂𝒕𝒆𝒔𝒕 𝒘𝒆𝒊𝒈𝒉𝒕.

Books let us stand on the shoulders of those who came before us. They let us 𝒘𝒂𝒏𝒅𝒆𝒓, 𝒒𝒖𝒆𝒔𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏, 𝒘𝒐𝒏𝒅𝒆𝒓, 𝒓𝒆𝒃𝒆𝒍, and 𝒅𝒓𝒆𝒂𝒎. They remind us that the world is bigger than the room we’re in, and that hope is something we can hold, page after page.

So read.
Read something that stirs you.
Read something that makes you think, or feel, or breathe a little deeper.

Library Closure Advisory!

CLASS SUSPENSION ANNOUNCEMENT

Due to the intermittent weather and flooding in some areas of the city, classes in all levels at SVCI–Basic Education are suspended today, August 19, 2025.

-Classes will shift to asynchronous learning.
-The scheduled meeting and classroom observation are moved to tomorrow, August 20, 2025.

Let us all prioritize safety and remain vigilant.

SVCI reaffirms its commitment to truth, justice and democracy in line with the CEAP statement on the 1986 EDSA People Power Revolution.

In commemoration, there will be 𝐍𝐎 𝐂𝐋𝐀𝐒𝐒𝐄𝐒 and 𝐍𝐎 𝐖𝐎𝐑𝐊 on 𝐅𝐄𝐁𝐑𝐔𝐀𝐑𝐘 𝟐𝟓, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓. However, the campus will remain open for the scheduled practices for the upcoming Lambigit Festival.

Normal classes and office operations will resume on Wednesday, February 26, 2025.

We encourage everyone to reflect on the values of EDSA and uphold unity, integrity and service in our community.
