It was a joyous and lovely day for the Northpin SLPA members which celebrated the grand opening of their SLP project - Meat Shop last July 08,2026 situated at the heart of Poblacion North, Pinan, Zamboanga del Norte.

The association is composed of 30 members with the given grant amounting Php 900,000.00. The SLPA members are coming from the Pinan Cooperative- a special case referral by our very own former Usec Camilo Gudmalin since he looked on the welfare of the cooperative members affected by the cooperative situation (losses), but despite of all the challenges experienced by cooperative members they were positive and hopeful that through the Livelihood assistance from the Sustainable Livelihood Program might help them to recover.

The opening and ceremonial turn-over were attended by the respective guests- Hon. Rommel Gudmalin, Municipal Mayor, Sir Camilo Gudmalin former DSWD Usec and now Commissioner on National Senior Citizen Commission, respective Barangay Captain of Poblacion North, MSWDO Staff, SLP PDOs and SLPA members as well as some cooperative members.

The program ended with the closing remarks from the active assigned Implementing PDO Mr. Michael S. Gorgolon. He sincerely appreciated and extended his unwavering gratitude to all partners in implementation especially the Local Government Unit of Pinan headed by Mayor Gudmalin for always supporting the Sustainable Livelihood Program.

The association is inviting the public to visit their store for fresh and affordable meat products.

From nurturing 12,500 fingerlings, the hard work, dedication, and resilience of our association members have officially paid off, yielding a massive 4,725 kilos of fresh, high-quality bangus! 📈💪
Next stop: Dumaguete City! 🚚💨 Our freshly harvested bangus are now on their way to bring the taste of our community's success to a wider market.
This milestone is a beautiful testament to what inclusive growth and teamwork can achieve. Congratulations to the Polo Pantawid and PWD SLPA! Sulong Kabuhayan, Tungo sa Pagyabong ! 🚀❤️

Congratulations to all the members of Tanayan Batch 2 SLPA and the community of Tanayan, President Manuel A. Roxas, Zamboanga del Norte.
The ceremonial turnover was successfully conducted, marking the release of a livelihood grant amounting to ₱530,800.00 for the Chicken Laying Production Project. This initiative aims to strengthen the group's livelihood opportunities and support sustainable income for the community. 🎉🐔

The DSWD–Sustainable Livelihood Program (SLP) Dipolog Cluster headed by Therese Maravel B. Arcenal successfully turned over the Egg Laying Project to the Productive Gupot SLPA of Brgy. Gupot, Manukan, Zamboanga del Norte, benefiting 30 participants with a total project cost of ₱510,000.00.

According to Barangay Captain Belly Capitan and SLPA President Oscar Sabanal, the project is a great help in uplifting the income and improving the livelihood of the members and their families. They also expressed their gratitude and commitment to properly manage and sustain the project for long-term benefits.

A Ceremonial Turnover of Checks of 3 Congress Introduced Changes and Adjustments (CICA) SLP Associations in the Municipality of Pres.Manuel A. Roxas.

A total of Php 1M grant is given to the 3 associations;
-Roxas Womens SLPA- received Php 460,000.00 for their Turmeric & Salabat Production
-Fisherfolks CICA SLPA-received Php 315,000.00 for Sea Fishing Enterprise
-Solo Parent CICA SLPA- received Php 225,000.00 for their General Merchandise enterprise

The activity was attended by our Local Partners- from the Office of Municipal Mayor represented by the Municipal Administrator Engr. Nestor Gonzalez , Sir Alfeo Bubutan,MSWDO and Maam Angelita Rengquijo, the wife of our very Honorable Mayor.
