A Ceremonial Turnover of Checks of 3 Congress Introduced Changes and Adjustments (CICA) SLP Associations in the Municipality of Pres.Manuel A. Roxas.

A total of Php 1M grant is given to the 3 associations;
-Roxas Womens SLPA- received Php 460,000.00 for their Turmeric & Salabat Production
-Fisherfolks CICA SLPA-received Php 315,000.00 for Sea Fishing Enterprise
-Solo Parent CICA SLPA- received Php 225,000.00 for their General Merchandise enterprise

The activity was attended by our Local Partners- from the Office of Municipal Mayor represented by the Municipal Administrator Engr. Nestor Gonzalez , Sir Alfeo Bubutan,MSWDO and Maam Angelita Rengquijo, the wife of our very Honorable Mayor.

Our Provincial Coordinator of Dipolog Cluster Ma’am Therese Maravel B. Arcenal attended the PANTAWID DAY celebration as guest speaker in Sibutad, Zamboanga del Norte. As a partner program, she delivered an encouraging and inspiring message to our Pantawid beneficiaries, especially to those who are about to graduate from the program.”

Late Upload!

Another successful Ceremonial Turnover of Checks with the 2 ZERO HUNGER associations in the Municipality of Rizal conducted last November 13,2025.

- The Mabuhay Hog Raising SLPA located in Barangay Mabuhay received funding amounting to Php 500,000.00, while the Nangcaan Sustainable Livestock Alliance SLPA in Barangay Nangcaan also received Php 500,000.00. Both associations implemented hog-raising projects to strengthen their livelihoods and improve their income.

The activity was attended by our Local Partners- the Municipal Vice Mayor Hon. Jose Salac and MSWDO Maam Jovelyn Poligrates

The event proved to be a great success, as seen in the happiness of our participants who are now empowered to pursue the livelihood they have always wanted. They pledged their dedication to helping their associations fulfill their goals and objectives.

Today marks an important milestone in the life of our association as we gather to witness and celebrate the succesful turn over of SEED CAPITAL FUND of two associations at barangay Suisayan, Manukan Zamboanga del Norte, the SUISAYAN BIGASAN SLPA with 30 pax with the amount of 540,000 and the LICPIN wirh 30 pax amounting to 540,000 start-up capital for their hog raising enterprise. Together, let us continue to build a stronger and more united association for the benefit of all.Today, we are truly honored by the presence of our distinguished guests and partners who have taken the time to celebrate this milestone with us. To our representatives from the Local Government Unit (LGU)and MSWDO Ma'am Geraldine Villaber,, the Barangay Local Government Unit (BLGU),Hon. Orlando P. Dumayon and SLP Provincia Coordinator of Dipolog Cluster Ma'am Therese Maravel B. Arcenal and also to my colleagues — thank you for gracing us with your presence. DSWD-SLP Launches 3-Day Orientation to Strengthen Livelihood Opportunities in Dapitan

The event gathered local leaders—including Mayor Belen T. Uy, Hon. Dennis A. Tan, Councilors Alexandra Judith Meily and Ruel S. Nadela, CSWDO Marilyn Sy, City Agriculturist Cyril Patangan, and Sen. Erwin Tulfo’s representative Robert Cadungog, to guide beneficiaries through the SLP framework, highlighting skills enhancement, enterprise development, and strengthened support for vulnerable households.

October 29, 2025 | The GBSA SLPA & MABUNGAHON SLPA both Association, are a thriving community-based organization located in Barangay Serongan, Manukan Zamboanga del Norte. The transformation marks a significant milestone in their journey towards sustainability and empowerment through collective effort and cooperation.
This 2 Association, composed of 60 active members — mostly women and 4Ps beneficiaries — represents various sectors within the community. With their determination and commitment to uplift their livelihoods, they have successfully received a total of ₱1,100,000.00, under the Sustainable Livelihood Program (SLP) of the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD).
The Local Government Unit (LGU) of Manukan ZN has shown unwavering support for the 2 Association, providing technical guidance and continuous assistance to ensure its growth and sustainability. This collaborative effort between the community, DSWD-SLP and the LGU stands as a strong example of empowerment, resilience, and inclusive.
