COSTRAPHIL at the 55th INTERSTENO Congress 2026 | Liverpool, United Kingdom 🇬🇧

The Court Stenographers Association of the Philippines (COSTRAPHIL) Inc., proudly represented the Philippines at the 55th INTERSTENO Congress 2026 in Liverpool, United Kingdom, through the participation and presentation of its National President, Mr. Cesar C. Saloma.

Before delegates and professionals from different parts of the world, President Saloma shared COSTRAPHIL’s vision of advancing the court reporting profession through excellence, innovation, and continuous professional development.

In his presentation, he emphasized that technology should never be viewed as a threat, but as a valuable partner in our profession. When responsibly embraced and guided by the expertise, integrity, and commitment of court stenographers, technological innovation strengthens the administration of justice while preserving the accuracy and reliability of the official record.

COSTRAPHIL also actively participated in the INTERSTENO General Assembly, technical sessions, and international discussions, exchanging best practices, fostering professional collaboration, and building meaningful partnerships with colleagues from around the world.

This international engagement reaffirms COSTRAPHIL’s commitment to bringing global knowledge, emerging technologies, and international best practices back to the Philippine judiciary and the court reporting community.

The stenographic community celebrated another milestone today as COSTRAPHIL, Inc., in partnership with Rizal Technological University (RTU), successfully conducted the 5th Batch of the Comprehensive 8-Hour Relevant Training Program and Workshops with the theme:
“Mastering the Art of Stenography.”

Held on July 11, 2026 via ZOOM Virtual Seminar, the program gathered court stenographers, educators, and professionals nationwide for a full day of transformative learning. The sessions focused on sharpening technical skills, strengthening precision, and elevating the standards of stenographic practice—underscoring the vital role of stenographers as guardians of accuracy in the halls of justice.

Adding prestige to the event was the honored presence of Court Administrator Hon. Ma. Theresa Dolores C. Gomez-Estoesta, whose participation symbolized the judiciary’s unwavering support for modernization and professional growth in stenography. Her presence inspired attendees to embrace innovation while upholding the timeless values of discipline, integrity, and excellence.

Through lectures, workshops, and interactive discussions, participants were equipped with modern techniques that bridge tradition with technology.
