From a vision to a concept, and now taking shape as a prototype LGU-led comprehensive automated referral and aftercare system, Project U.N.L.A.D. is one step closer to becoming a reality.
On Monday, August 10, 2026, MPDC Sheryl L. Cabrera, Project UNLAD Team Leader, shared an update on the ongoing development of the projectโs integrated digital platform and mobile application, funded through the 2025 Innovation Grants of the Department of Economy, Planning and Development (DepDev).
Under the visionary leadership of Mayor Orlan Calayag, the project continues to advance the LGUโs commitment to building a more responsive, connected, and people-centered system of support.
Together with the Project Management Team, MPDC Cabrera highlighted how Project U.N.L.A.D. seeks to strengthen coordination, monitoring, data-driven decision-making, referral mechanisms, and access to information and servicesโparticularly for 4Ps transitioning households as they move beyond program assistance toward greater self-reliance and sustainable economic independence.
A new chapter is about to unfold. Project U.N.L.A.D. is coming soonโฆ
