Rosalio Eduarte National High School (RENHS) continues to prioritize the safety, security, and well-being of its learners, teachers, and stakeholders through the installation of a Closed-Circuit Television (CCTV) Surveillance System in strategic locations throughout the school campus.

The newly installed CCTV cameras cover key areas, including the school’s entrance and exit gates, hallways, open spaces, and other critical locations to ensure continuous monitoring of daily school activities. This initiative aims to strengthen campus security, promote discipline, safeguard school property, and provide a safer learning environment for everyone.

The CCTV system also serves as an important tool in monitoring the orderly flow of students and visitors entering and leaving the campus, supporting the school’s commitment to maintaining peace, order, and accountability. In addition, the surveillance system can assist in incident verification and help ensure that appropriate actions are taken whenever necessary.

Through this initiative, RENHS, headed by the school principal IV, Dr. David P. Linggayo Jr., reaffirms its dedication to creating a secure and conducive environment where learners can focus on their education with confidence and peace of mind. He keeps on encouraging everyone to continue to uphold a culture of safety, responsibility, and shared accountability as we work hand in hand toward a better and more secure Rosalio Eduarte National High School.

𝙍𝙀𝙉𝙃𝙎 𝘾𝙚𝙡𝙚𝙗𝙧𝙖𝙩𝙚𝙨 10𝙩𝙝 𝙉𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙖𝙡 𝘾𝙋𝙍 𝘿𝙖𝙮

Rosalio Eduarte National High School (RENHS) joined the celebration of the 10th National CPR Day through a Hands-Only Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Lecture and Demonstration on July 16, 2026 conducted by the Philippine Red Cross – Abra Chapter headed by the OIC, Ms. Jennifer T. Bernal.

The activity provided learners and school personnel with valuable knowledge and practical skills on performing Hands-Only CPR, emphasizing the importance of immediate response during emergencies. Through an informative lecture and interactive demonstration, participants learned the proper techniques that could help save lives while waiting for professional medical assistance.

School principal IV, Dr. David P. Linggayo Jr., would like to thank the whole Philippine Red Cross - Abra Chapter for generously providing the school necessary emergency kits such as First Aid Kit and GO Bags.

RENHS expressed its sincere appreciation to the Philippine Red Cross – Abra Chapter for its unwavering commitment to promoting emergency preparedness and life-saving education. Rosalio Eduarte National High School (RENHS) headed by the school principal IV, Dr. David P. Linggayo Jr. welcomed the presence of the personnel from the Philippine National Police (PNP) Dolores and the officials of Barangay Local Government Unit (BLGU) of Talogtog during the arrival of students and the conduct of the school's flag raising ceremony on Monday, July 13, 2026, reinforcing their shared commitment to maintaining a safe, orderly, and learner-friendly school environment.

As students arrived on campus, the PNP personnel and officials of Barangay Talogtog actively assisted in ensuring peace, order, and security. Their presence served as a strong reminder of the community's collective responsibility in protecting learners and fostering a positive atmosphere conducive to learning.

During the flag ceremony, Dr. Linggayo acknowledged and expressed his heartfelt appreciation to the PNP Dolores personnel and the Barangay Talogtog officials for their continued support and partnership with the school. He emphasized that their unwavering commitment to school safety and student welfare reflects the importance of collaboration among stakeholders in creating an environment where learners can grow, learn, and succeed.

Rosalio Eduarte National High School (RENHS) proudly elected its new set of General Parents-Teachers Association (GPTA) Officers for the School Year 2026–2027, a team of dedicated parent leaders united by a common goal, to support the continuous improvement of the school and promote the holistic development of every learner. With hearts committed to service and a shared vision of excellence, the newly elected officers expressed their readiness to work hand in hand with the school administration, teachers, stakeholders, and the entire school community in implementing programs and initiatives that will benefit both the school and its students.

General PTA serves as one of the school’s strongest partners in fostering a safe, inclusive, and learner-centered environment. Through active participation, collaboration, and volunteerism, the officers aim to strengthen school-home partnerships, support academic and co-curricular activities, enhance school facilities, and contribute to programs that promote the welfare and success of every RENHS learner.

Rosalio Eduarte National High School (RENHS), through its Rural Farm School (RFS) Special Class, successfully harvested a variety of fresh vegetables cultivated by the students as part of their hands-on agricultural learning experience.
From the preparation of the soil, planting, and nurturing the crops to the much-awaited harvest, students actively participated in every stage of the production process, gaining valuable knowledge and practical skills in sustainable agriculture.

The harvested produce was sold to members of the school community as an Income-Generating Project (IGP), allowing students to apply their knowledge not only in crop production but also in entrepreneurship, marketing, and financial responsibility.

Proceeds from the vegetable sales will be utilized to purchase farming supplies, seeds, tools, and other essential materials needed to sustain the RFS Special Class and strengthen its agricultural activities.

This initiative reflects the school's commitment to experiential learning by equipping students with practical life skills while promoting self-sufficiency, teamwork, and responsible resource management. Through the continuous support of the school community, the RFS program continues to cultivate not only healthy crops but also empowered and future-ready learners.

In its continued partnership with educational institutions in promoting a safe and nurturing learning environment, personnel of the Philippine National Police (PNP) Dolores visited Rosalio Eduarte National High School (RENHS) on Wednesday, July 8, 2026 to conduct an informative and inspiring talk on student safety, discipline, and good behavior.

Police Officers highlighted the vital role of discipline and personal responsibility in shaping the character of every learner. Students were encouraged to uphold respect, honesty, and courtesy in their daily interactions, while consistently following school rules and demonstrating proper conduct both inside and outside the campus. They also reminded learners to remain vigilant, avoid negative influences, resolve misunderstandings peacefully, and make wise decisions that contribute to their personal growth and the well-being of the school community. They emphasized that true discipline is reflected not only in obedience to rules but also in the values and choices students make every day.

The visit served as a meaningful opportunity to strengthen the partnership between RENHS and the PNP in fostering a culture of safety, respect, and accountability. In line with the Department of Education's commitment to ensuring quality and inclusive education, Dr. Narciso B. Cannaoay, Education Program Supervisor (EPS) for Alternative Learning System (ALS) Education, visited Rosalio Eduarte National High School (RENHS) today, July 7, 2026 to conduct monitoring and provide technical assistance to the school's ALS teachers and learners.

The visit focused on assessing the implementation of the Alternative Learning System, monitoring instructional practices, and ensuring quality progress of learners. Dr. Cannaoay also engaged in meaningful discussions with the school principal IV, Dr. David P. Linggayo jr., as well as with the school's Senior High School ALS teacher Mr. George A. Velasquez, Teacher V, and the ALS teacher and coordinator Ms. Aizel Ann L. Jamison, providing valuable insights, recommendations, and technical guidance aimed at strengthening instructional delivery, improving learning outcomes, and ensuring that the program remains responsive to the diverse needs of ALS learners.

Beyond monitoring, the activity became an avenue for collaboration and professional growth. Through his expertise and encouragement, Dr. Cannaoay reinforced the importance of innovative teaching strategies, effective learner support, and continuous program improvement in achieving the goals of ALS.
