Good news, motorists! Backlog replacement plates from 2017 and below for 4-wheeled motor vehicles with plate numbers ending in 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, and 9 are now available at LTO Sorsogon District Office.

Vehicle owners are advised to visit the office and claim their replacement plates at the soonest possible time. Please bring photocopies of OR/CR documents for verification and processing.

A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE GRANT OF FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE TO IDENTIFIED HABAL-HABAL DRIVERS OF BARANGAY DE VERA, DONSOL, SORSOGON, IN LIGHT OF THE DECLARED STATE OF CALAMITY DUE TO THE CONTINUING FUEL PRICE INCREASES, AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES

WHEREAS, pursuant to the Local Government Code of 1991 (Republic Act No. 7160). the Sangguniang Barangay is empowered to enact measures for the general welfare of its constituents, including the provision of financial assistance in times of crisis;

WHEREAS, the Province of Sorsogon, through Resolution No. 215-2026, has declared a State of Calamity due to continuous and significant increases in oil prices, adversely affecting the economic stability and livelihood of residents;

WHEREAS, habal-habal drivers within Barangay De Vera constitute a vulnerable sector whose primary source of income has been severely diminished due to rising fuel cost:

WHEREAS, there is a need to extend immediate and reasonable financial assistance to alleviate the economic burden suffered by said drivers, consistent with existing auditing, budgeting, and accounting rules and regulations:

WHEREAS, the Sangguniang Barangay, after due deliberation and consultation, has identified fifty (50) qualified beneficiaries who are bona fide residents and actively engaged in habal-habal operations within the barangay as follows;
