EXECUTIVE ORDER NO. 57

Governor Manuel “Chaco” L. Sagarbarria declares suspension of face-to-face classes in all levels in public and private schools in the Province of Negros Oriental due to the erratic weather condition brought about by Tropical Storm Kristine and shall remain enforced until lifted.

Reports have reached my office about the unauthorized use of the official seal of the City of Dumaguete in the promotional materials of the recently concluded 4L Buglasan Half Marathon on October 20, 2024.

Let it be known to all that the City Government of Dumaguete had nothing to do, whatsoever, with the planning, promotion and the conduct of said event much less authorize any person or entity to use the City Seal.

My office is now investigating as to who are responsible for such unauthorized act and will not hesitate to initiate the appropriate civil, administrative and/or criminal proceedings against those responsible.
