The Internal Audit Service (IAS) of the Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR) Central Office recently conducted a three-day audit covering the CY 2025 implementation of the Climate Resilient Farm Productivity Support Program (CRFPSP) in Negros Oriental.
The audit aimed to assess compliance, evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls, and identify key improvements to recommend process enhancements.

The IAS reviewed essential documents such as but not limited to project proposals, bidding records, and financial disbursements.

On the third day of audit, and as part of their on-site verification, the IAS audit team visited the Simborio Agrarian Reform Beneficiaries Farmers Association (SARBFA) Inc. in Brgy. Simborio, Pamplona—a CY 2025 recipient of the CRFPS Major Crop Block Farm Enhancement Project.

The IAS team is composed of Lenie A. Tenorio, Richal Ariel D. Ilagan, Jessica P. Loja, Jeswel B. Rebato, Raul C. Dela Torre, and Patrisha B. Magcanan, with the valuable assistance and participation of the PBDD personnel headed by OIC-CARPO Aileen A. Villaseca, and CRFPSP point persons Paul Jude A. Tugdang, Engr. Lytton Ray Artiaga, and Engr. Karl Gabriel Patula. The conduct of the field visit was assisted by DARMO Pamplona, headed by MARPO Algerico Navarro.

Through rigorous evaluation, on-site validation, and collaborative engagement with field personnel and agrarian reform beneficiaries, this audit reinforces the Department's unwavering commitment to transparency, accountability, and the efficient delivery of support services to our farmers.

Aligning goals, reviewing milestones, and mapping out activities for the second semester of 2026.

The Program Beneficiaries Development Division (PBDD) and the DARMO Municipal Officers of DAR Negros Oriental gathered at the DARPO Conference Room on July 30, 2026, for the Strategic Alignment and Performance Evaluation: Review and Planning Session (RPS).

As we push forward into Calendar Year 2026, our team remains fully committed to refining our strategies, strengthening our program components, and delivering more impactful support services to our agrarian reform beneficiaries.

Spearheaded by OIC-Provincial Agrarian Reform Program Officer II Engr. Manuel M. Galon Jr. and OIC-Chief Agrarian Reform Program Officer Aileen A. Villaseca, the RPS served as a venue to level off targets, accomplishments, and other relevant deadlines.
