STATE OF THE CITY ADDRESS 2026

The City Government of Dumaguete successfully held the State of the City Address (SOCA) 2026 on August 28, 2026, at the Presidencia, City Hall Grounds.

City Mayor Hon. Manuel T. Sagarbarria presented the accomplishments of the City Government and outlined the administrationโ€™s continuing programs, priorities, and vision for the development of Dumaguete City. The occasion also highlighted the valuable role of the Sangguniang Panlungsod of Dumaguete City, whose legislative support and collaboration remain integral to the cityโ€™s continued progress and development.

The City Government likewise extends its appreciation to the NORSU Kabilin Grand Chorale, under the direction of Prof. Miriam B. Eliaga, for their exceptional musical performances that added distinction and significance to the SOCA 2026 celebration.
