In support of the campaign to strengthen public awareness and preparedness during Active Shooting Incidents, Dumalneg Municipal Police Station reminds everyone to remember the RUN – ALERT – SECURE/HIDE – INFORM safety response.

🏃‍♂️ RUN – If there is a safe escape route, leave immediately and proceed to a designated safe area. Help others evacuate when it is safe to do so.

🚨 ALERT – Warn people nearby and activate the school’s emergency alarm. Follow the instructions of school authorities and security personnel.

🔒 SECURE/HIDE – If escape is not possible, find a secure place, lock and barricade the door, silence mobile phones, stay quiet, and keep away from windows.

📞 INFORM – Call 911 when it is safe to do so. Provide the exact location, situation, number of suspects or victims, and other important information that may help emergency responders.

Remember: Stay calm. Stay alert. Know the proper response.

Pursuant to Memorandum Circular No. 131, government offices are directed to implement appropriate alternative work arrangements in the National Capital Region and the following provinces on August 20, 2026:

📍 National Capital Region (NCR)
📍 Abra
📍 Benguet
📍 Ilocos Norte
📍 Ilocos Sur
📍 La Union
📍 Pangasinan
📍 Bataan
📍 Bulacan
📍 Nueva Ecija
📍 Pampanga
📍 Tarlac
📍 Zambales
📍 Batangas
📍 Cavite
📍 Laguna
📍 Rizal
📍 Occidental Mindoro

Unless otherwise directed by their respective Local Chief Executives, alternative learning modes for classes and learning continuity measures at all levels in public and private schools shall be implemented in the aforementioned areas.

Agencies involved in the delivery of basic and health services, disaster preparedness and response, and other vital services shall continue their operations and render the necessary services.

Contract of Service (COS) and Job Order (JO) workers placed under alternative work arrangements shall be paid their corresponding wages or salaries, subject to applicable rules and regulations.

The suspension of work or adoption of alternative work arrangements in the private sector shall be left to the discretion of management.
