The Municipality of Dumanjug is pleased to announce the Screening and Audition for Bisnok Idol Season 2, a search for talented individuals who will have the opportunity to showcase their vocal abilities and passion for music.

The audition will be held on 𝗦𝗲𝗽𝘁𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟲, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲. The venue will be announced at a later date.

Please be reminded that the 𝗕𝗶𝘀𝗻𝗼𝗸 𝗜𝗱𝗼𝗹 𝗦𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗼𝗻 𝟮 𝗶𝘀 𝗲𝘅𝗰𝗹𝘂𝘀𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗹𝘆 𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗻 𝘁𝗼 𝗯𝗼𝗻𝗮 𝗳𝗶𝗱𝗲 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗠𝘂𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗽𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝗗𝘂𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗷𝘂𝗴.

𝟭𝟮𝟴𝗧𝗛 𝗜𝗡𝗗𝗘𝗣𝗘𝗡𝗗𝗘𝗡𝗖𝗘 𝗗𝗔𝗬!

Today, as we commemorate the 128th Independence Day of the Philippines, we honor the courage, sacrifice, and unwavering love for country shown by the heroes who fought for our nation's freedom. Their bravery and patriotism paved the way for the liberties and opportunities that we enjoy today.

This historic occasion reminds us that independence was not freely given—it was won through the determination, unity, and selfless sacrifices of countless Filipinos who dreamed of a sovereign and dignified nation. As we remember their struggles, may we also reflect on our role in preserving the values they fought for: freedom, justice, integrity, and national unity.

As our national hero, José Rizal, once said, “Ang kabataan ang pag-asa ng bayan.” These words continue to inspire every Filipino to contribute toward building a stronger, more progressive, and more compassionate Philippines. Through our actions, service, and commitment to the common good, we can honor the legacy of those who came before us.

Municipal Mayor Efren Guntrano Z. Gica recently had a courtesy meeting with Fr. Alvin Codilla of St. Francis of Assisi Parish Church.

The meeting served as an opportunity to formally welcome Fr. Codilla to the Municipality of Dumanjug and to foster a meaningful discussion on matters concerning the church and the community.

They also had a brief exchange of ideas and plans regarding the upcoming fiesta celebration of the municipality, highlighting the importance of unity, faith, and collaboration in making the celebration meaningful and successful for all Dumanjuganons.

This meeting reflects the continued partnership between the local government and the parish in promoting community development, cultural traditions, and shared service to the people.
