A collaborative effort between the 513ECB, 51E, PA, and 523ESC, 84EN US Army gave rise to the construction of the DRO Warehouse, ENCAP Project of SALAKNIB 39-24. Under the guidance of LTC NARCISO B ESTARES CE (GSC) PA, Commanding Officer, 513ECB, 51E, PA, appointed CPT JOHN PATRICK M BATILO (CE) PA as the project officer leading a team of 15 personnel to Itbayat, Batanes.

On 06 May 2024, CPT JOHN PATRICK M BATILO (CE) PA and the team gathered in Brgy San Rafael, Itbayat, Batanes for the groundbreaking ceremony. The presence of Hon. Marilou H. Cayco, the Governor of Batanes, and Hon. Sabas C. De Sagon, the Municipal Mayor of Itbayat Batanes, added significance to the event. The collaborative spirit between the 513ECB and the US Army was palpable as shovels broke the ground, symbolizing the start of a project aimed at creating a space of hope and support for the community.

The project came to its completion on 17 June 2024, culminating in a Dedication Ceremony of the DRO Warehouse that marked a significant milestone in the journey towards progress and community development. LTC NARCISO B ESTARES CE (GSC) PA, representing BGEN ANTONIO C ROTA JR PA, Commander 51E, PA, expressed gratitude to Hon. Marilou H. Cayco and Hon. Sabas C. De Sagon for their unwavering support throughout the project. The exceptional leadership of Warrant Officer ELISSA ANNE PEDELITY from the US Army and CPT JOHN PATRICK M BATILO (CE) PA from 513ECB was commendable as they guided the project to completion. The dedication and craftsmanship of the personnel from both the 513ECB and the US Army were recognized, showcasing their collaborative efforts in bringing the DRO Warehouse to fruition.

The dedication of the DRO Warehouse served as a tribute to the hard work and dedication of all involved, symbolizing the collective efforts to serve the community and pave the way for a brighter future. "Empowering Education and Strengthening Bonds: Dedication Ceremony for One Storey, Two-Classroom School Building at Alannay Elementary School"

The 513ECB, 51E, PA, under the leadership of Lt Col Narciso B Estares CE (GSC) PA in steadfast collaboration with the US Marines, proudly unveils a One-story, two-classroom School Building at Alannay Elementary School in Alannay, Lasam, Cagayan, under the transformative RP-US BALIKATAN 39-2024 initiative. This monumental project, initiated with a Ground Breaking Ceremony on March 26, 2024, stands as a testament to the exceptional dedication and tireless efforts of our Army personnel.
The ceremony was a testament to the Army's commitment and was attended by esteemed individuals such as Lt Col Ford G Alsiyao Inf (GSC) PA, Acting Commanding Officer, 17IB, 5ID, PA, from US Marine Corps Lt Col Christopher J Bridger, CJMOTF Deputy, Lt Col Christopher A Thrasher, Commanding Officer, 9th Engineer Support Battalion, and 2Lt Jeremy A Walker, ENCAP, OIC. Also present were Hon. Reynante Z. Agatep, Municpal Mayor, Lasam, Cagayan with his Vice Mayor, Hon Randy C. Cambe, Reynante Z. Caliguiran, School Division Superintendent, SDO Cagayan. This activity exemplified the unwavering dedication and collaborative spirit that brought this vision to fruition.
Ms. Ahllyn C. Danguilan, PhD, Head Teacher of Alannay Elementary School, expresses profound gratitude to the Balikatan Exercises for selecting their school for this impactful program. She highlights the invaluable contributions of the Army in providing students with enhanced learning opportunities, paving the way for a brighter tomorrow for the community.

"BGEN RANDY F FAJILAGUTAN PA Revisits His Former Battalion"

On 24-25 April 2024, BGEN RANDY F FAJILAGUTAN PA, the Commander of the 54th Engineer Brigade, returned to the 513ECB, 51EBde, PA, which he had previously commanded as the 34th Commanding Officer from 16 August 2012 to 16 September 2014.

The unit, under the leadership of LTC NARCISO B ESTARES CE (GSC) PA, warmly welcomed BGEN FAJILAGUTAN back to his old stomping grounds. During his visit, BGEN FAJILAGUTAN paid a courtesy call at 502IBde, PA, where he was received by BGEN EUGENE M MATA PA. A unit briefing was then held at the 513ECB conference room, addressing the troops he had once led.

As BGEN FAJILAGUTAN interacted with the soldiers, he reminisced about his cherished memories and experiences during his time as the Commanding Officer. He shared how his journey at the battalion level had been instrumental in shaping his current role as the Brigade Commander, inspiring the troops with his unwavering dedication and leadership.

This homecoming was a bittersweet moment for BGEN FAJILAGUTAN, as he bid farewell before his well-deserved retirement. Yet, the enduring bonds and mutual respect within the Philippine Army were evident, leaving a lasting impression on all who witnessed this meaningful reunion.

Exciting news! The 513ECB, 51E, PA, led by LTC NARCISO B ESTARES CE (GSC) PA, has joined forces with General Emilio Aguinaldo National High School, Ugad High School, Raniag High School, and Echague National High School to establish a collaborative partnership through a Memorandum of Partnership Agreement (MOPA).
The main objective of this agreement is to introduce a work immersion program for Senior High School students, offering them a valuable opportunity to gain practical experience and exposure to their chosen fields of specialization.
Through this partnership, we aim to provide students with a platform to apply their knowledge and skills in a real-world work environment, enhancing their understanding of their respective fields.
We are thrilled to embark on this journey together, fostering a stronger connection between education and practical learning. Stay tuned for more updates on this exciting initiative!
