The local weather bureau has issued an Red Rainfall Warning for El Nido and its surrounding areas. This warning indicates a high probability of heavy rainfall, which may lead to localized flooding, strong winds, and potentially hazardous conditions.

To ensure your safety and make the most of your stay, we kindly request you to adhere to the following safety reminders:

✅Stay informed: Keep yourself updated with the latest weather forecasts and advisories from reliable sources. Local authorities and your accommodation staff can provide you with the necessary information.

✅Follow official instructions: Pay attention to any warnings or directives issued by local authorities or your accommodation. These instructions are designed to keep you safe and minimize any potential risks.

✅Avoid risky areas: Refrain from venturing into areas prone to flooding, such as riverbanks, low-lying regions, and steep slopes. It is essential to prioritize your safety and refrain from any unnecessary risks.

✅Be cautious on the roads: In case of heavy rainfall, exercise extreme caution. Roads may become slippery, and visibility may be reduced. Follow traffic rules and avoid driving through flooded areas.

✅Stay indoors during heavy rainfall: Seek shelter in your accommodation or other secure buildings during intense rainfall. Avoid outdoor activities until the weather conditions improve and it is deemed safe to venture outside.

𝐄𝐆𝐋 𝐆𝐄𝐍𝐓𝐋𝐄𝐌𝐀𝐍’𝐒 𝐑𝐈𝐃𝐄

Aiming to unite motorcycle riders and enthusiasts all over the Province of Palawan to promote the local tourist destinations in the Municipality, the EGL Gentleman’s Ride happening on the 14th of March shall be one of the major activities during El Nido’s 107th Founding Anniversary Celebration.

Participating riders shall be visiting the top mainland tourist attractions in El Nido and in partnership with the Sangguniang Bayan members of the Municipality shall promote these spots to their friends, families, and other networks.

Registration: FREE

Mechanics:

• Registration is free; Open category for all legally registered motorbikes
• Open for all riders 18 years old and above; Safety gears and equipment shall be worn at all times
• Riders are to wear tailored suits, silk waistcoats, crisp shirts, stylish caps, and polished brogue attires. Please see sample photos uploaded in the comment section.
• Only the rider and one passenger allowed for each motorbike
• Prescribed speed is at 20-30 km/ 20-30 ml
• Riders are to strictly follow the route and itinerary

What bikes are allowed?
Bikes must be classic or vintage- café racer, bobber classic, tracker, scrambler, old school chopper, modern classic, sidecar, classic scooter, or brat-style motorcycle.

Route and Itinerary:

Assembly at 6:30 AM
Drive to Nacpan Beach, Duli Beach, San Fernando Port, and Ille Cave (Half Day)
