🎓✨ BAYONG BAG MAKING TRAINING GRADUATION ✨🎓

Last May 14, the TUPAD beneficiaries successfully completed the Bayong Bag Making Training conducted through the collaborative efforts of Public Employment Service Office PESO - El Nido and the Malampaya Foundation. The graduation ceremony marked a significant achievement for the participants as they celebrated the completion of their skills training and livelihood development program.

The activity aimed to empower TUPAD beneficiaries by equipping them with practical knowledge and hands-on skills in bayong bag making, providing them with additional livelihood opportunities that can help augment their family income and promote self-sufficiency.

Through the training, participants learned weaving techniques, proper material preparation, product design, and the importance of quality craftsmanship in producing locally-made and eco-friendly bayong bags.

The program was also a testament to the continuing commitment of PESO and the Malampaya Foundation in supporting community-based livelihood initiatives that create sustainable opportunities for individuals and families. Our partnership continues to inspire communities by providing meaningful programs focused on skills development, empowerment, and economic growth.

The event became a celebration not only of completed training but also of the determination and hard work of every beneficiary who participated in the program. Smiles, pride, and hope filled the occasion as graduates received recognition for their efforts and accomplishments.

Congratulations to all graduates of the Bayong Bag Making Training! May this achievement serve as an inspiration to continue pursuing growth, livelihood opportunities, and community development. 🌱👜✨

🌱🥬 Fresh harvest from the Bebeledan Vegetable Growers Association — a proud product of the TUPAD beneficiaries under the guidance and support of the Public Employment Service Office PESO - El Nido !

What started as a simple community gardening activity has now become a source of hope, unity, and livelihood for the beneficiaries. Through teamwork, dedication, and continuous effort, the members were able to cultivate and harvest fresh vegetables that can help support their daily needs while promoting food sustainability within the community.

Their hard work in preparing the land, planting, maintaining, and nurturing the crops has now resulted in a fruitful harvest that benefits not only the members but also the entire barangay.

The success of this project reflects the true purpose of the TUPAD program — providing temporary employment while creating meaningful and sustainable community-based initiatives.

It also showcases how collaboration between the community, local government, and the Public Employment Service Office can create opportunities that empower individuals and strengthen local livelihood.

The Public Employment Service Office of El Nido continues to support programs that promote self-reliance, community participation, and sustainable livelihood opportunities for TUPAD beneficiaries.

🌿✨ UNITY THROUGH LIVELIHOOD | BAGONG BAYAN TUPAD BENEFICIARIES ✨🌿

As part of its continuous effort to empower communities and strengthen livelihood opportunities, the Public Employment Service Office (PESO), successfully organized the TUPAD beneficiaries engaged in Community Gardening and Bayong Bag Making into two official community associations: the “Bagong Bayan Vegetable Gardener Association” and the “Newton Bayong Bag Makers Association.”

The organizing activity served as an important milestone for the beneficiaries as they officially came together to build stronger cooperation, camaraderie, and collective participation towards a shared vision of sustainable livelihood and community development. Through this initiative, members were encouraged to become more active and responsible in contributing to the growth and success of their respective associations.

During the activity, discussions focused on the importance of leadership, teamwork, proper coordination, and the role of every member in sustaining the programs and activities of the association. The beneficiaries also shared their ideas and aspirations on how the associations can help create more opportunities, improve their skills, and strengthen their source of income in the future.

The establishment of the “Bagong Bayan Vegetable Gardener Association” highlights the community’s commitment to promoting food sustainability and productive gardening practices, while the “Newton Bayong Bag Makers Association” showcases the creativity and craftsmanship of local residents through bayong bag production as an additional livelihood opportunity.

PESO remains dedicated to supporting initiatives that promote empowerment, self-reliance, and stronger community partnerships. Through unity and cooperation, these newly formed associations symbolize hope, progress, and a brighter future for the people of Barangay Bagong Bayan.
