Good morning!

Atienza Shipping Lines is launching a new Batangas-Palawan route via El Nido and Coron soon. To protect Palawan's status as an African Swine Fever (ASF) and Avian Influenza (Bird Flu) FREE Province, we're implementing stricter quarantine protocols.

Important Reminder for Shippers:

All live animals, animal products (fresh/frozen/processed meat, eggs), and by-products require a BAI-issued Shipping Permit (DA AO No. 5, s. 2019) prior to transport. Non-compliance may result in confiscation.

Travel Reminder:

To protect the DA-DOH Rabies-Free status of Busuanga-Culion-Coron-Linapacan (BusCuCoLin) islands:

*Requirements for Traveling Pets from Mainland Palawan to Coron via El Nido for Local Shipping Permit issuance*

1. Rabies Vaccination: Ensure your pet is vaccinated against rabies. Present the vaccination card with rabies vaccination details signed by a Licensed Veterinarian.
2. Waiting Period: Wait 2 weeks after vaccination before traveling (for first time vaccinated pets) .
3. Veterinary Clearance: Obtain a Veterinary Health Certificate from a Licensed Veterinarian (Govt or Private) or Animal Inspection Certificate from Municipal Agriculture Office (for municipalities without Vets) .

Patuloy po ang paghihigpit natin sa pag dadala ng manok, pato, pugo at mga produktong mula dito (eggs, meat, etc.) papasok ng El Nido at Palawan, na walang kaukulang shipping permit at required documents mula sa Bureau of Animal Industry. Ito ay isinasagawa upang maiwasan na makapasok ang Bird's Flu sa ating probinsiya.

MULING PAGPAPAALALA: Pinagbabawal po magdala ng karneng baboy o ano mang produkto na gawa sa karneng baboy tulad ng ham, longganisa, tocino, bacon atbp, na nag mula sa labas ng Palawan. May Total Ban po ng live hogs, pork (fresh/frozen), pork products and by-products dito sa El Nido (EO 022-012) at sa buong Palawan.

As of December 5,2024, estimated 20kgs na pork products na ang mga nahuli at naconfiscate sa El Nido Port at sinunog dahil sa pinagbabawal ang pagdala neto sa Palawan at paglabag sa DA AO #5 s. 2019.

2. Acceptance Letter issued by Municipal Veterinary Office or Provincial Veterinary Office (Contact Jethro Gomez for OPV Letter of Acceptance)
Note: Bago pumunta ng pier para kumuha ng Shipping Permit, ipa-photocopy na ang mga required documents.

Shipping chickens (Gamefowl, native chickens, etc) for breeding or amusement games purposes to Manila and other provinces outside Palawan?
For Backyard/Non accredited farm/one time shipment:
1. CERTIFICATE OF FREES STATUS- AVIAN INFLUENZA (CFS-AI)
a. How to secure CFS-AI:
Step 1: Magparehistro sa RSBSA (Municipal Agriculture Office) o kumuha ng Local Veterinary Government Certificate of Registration (Municipal or Provincial Veterinary Office)
Step 2: Kumuha ng Newcastle Vaccination Certificate na pirmado ng licensed Veterinarian. Magtanong sa Municipal or Provincial Veterinary Office ukol dito. Lagyan ng legband or wingband ang mga manok (na ipapadala) for identification purposes
Step 3: Dalhin ang mga manok (with leg or Wingband) pati ang RSBSA stub or Local Govt Vet Cert of Registration at ND Vaccination Certificate sa Satellite Animal Disease Diagnostic Laboratory. (SADDL) na matatagpuan sa Balayong Park, Sta. Monica, Puerto Princesa City, upang makunan ng blood at oropharyngeal samples para ma-itest sa Avian Influenza. (Para sa katanungan sa AI testing, tumawag sa 09771622830 procedure at sa pag release ng CFS-AI)
Step 4: Hintayin ang tawag ng SADDL personnel para sa issuance ng CFS-AI.
2. Kapag may CFS-AI na, 3 days bago ang schedule na biyahe- pumunta sa Municipal or Provincial Veterinary Office para kumuha ng Veterinary Health Certificate (VHC).
3. Kumuha ng Shipping Permit. Maari kayo mag-apply ng shipping permit online (www.bai.gov.ph). I-upload lang ang mga requirements-CFS-AI at VHC,o pumunta sa pinakamalapit na BAI Veterinary Quarantine Station sa pier or airport para sa manual issuance ng shipping permit. Dalhin ang requirements at alaga g manok for inspection.
Kapag more than 4 heads ng manok ang ipapadala, may additional requirement na Livestock and Poultry Handler's License (Mkipag ugnayan sa Provincial Veterinary Office para sa proseso ng pag-apply)

Shipping chicken (gamefowl, native chicken, etc. ) from El Nido to Coron (and vice versa) ?
1. Secure Veterinary Health Certificate (VHC) from Municipal Veterinary Office or Provincial Veterinary Office of any private licensed Veterinarian. If no Gov't or Private Veterinarian in your area, you may secure Animal Inspection Certificate (AIC) from Municipal Agriculture Office. (Note: AIC or VHC is valid only for 3 days)
2. Present VHC or AIC to Veterinary Quarantine Inspector/Officer at the port for Shipping Permit issuance. (Shipping Permit valid for 7 days)

Note: It is advisable (but optional) that your animal has a wingband or legband for identification purposes.

This requirement is only applicable for inter-island municipality (El Nido to Coron) shipment.

Kaugnay sa Provincial Resolution #19896, lahat ng sasakyan (rolling cargoes) na lulan ng mga RO-RO na nagmula sa Maynila ay dumadaan sa Disinfection Procedure as one of the biosecurity measures na ipinapatupad sa probinsiya upang maiwasan ang pagpasok ng African Swine Fever sa Palawan.

Provincial Government of Palawan Resolution # 19896 nagsasaad na pinagbabawal ang pagpasok sa Palawan ng mga "Transport Carrier" na nagmumula sa labas ng probinsiya upang maiwasan ang pagpasok ng African Swine Fever sa Palawan.

Kaugnay ng Provincial Resolution na eto, lahat ng mga sasakyan (rolling cargoes) lulan ng mga RO-RO mula sa Maynila patungo ng El Nido ay kailngang dumaan disinfection procedure as biosecurity measures.
