A significant step toward strengthening community-based rehabilitation and promoting a safer, drug-free city was marked today with the inauguration of the Balay Silangan of El Salvador City.

Vice Mayor Loloy Estrada attended the activity and delivered his Message of Support on behalf of the Honorable Mayor Edgar S. Lignes, reaffirming the city government’s commitment to rehabilitation, reintegration and giving individuals a second chance to become productive members of society.

The event was graced by Usec. Atty. Isagani R. Nerez, Director General of PDEA, who is also a member of the Philippine Guardians Brotherhood Incorporated, the same organization where Vice Mayor Loloy Estrada and Mayor Lignes are both members; PDEA 10 Regional Director Alex Tablate; and PLTCL Patrick Dalangin, Chief of Police of El Salvador City, together with members of the City Council and department heads, highlighting the strong collaboration among national and local agencies in addressing the challenges of illegal drugs through holistic and community-based approaches.

Following the ceremony, the Inauguration and Blessing of the new PDEA Regional Office 10, now situated in El Salvador City, was also held—further reinforcing the city’s role as a partner in strengthening peace, order and public safety in the region.

This milestone reflects unity in action and a shared vision of hope, recovery and sustainable community development. 🤝💙💜🏛️

Vice Mayor Agripino “Loloy” Estrada Jr. graced the Opening Ceremony of the Northern Mindanao Regional Athletic Association (NMRAA) 2026 in Malaybalay City, Bukidnon together with Councilor Nong2 Gabule and former Councilor Ed Ayunting, in full support of the 400+ athletes proudly representing the Division of El Salvador City.

The ceremony was further highlighted by the presence of keynote speaker Senator Juan Miguel “Migz” Zubiri, whose message inspired participants to strive for excellence in both sports and in life.

Tortola as he successfully represented the Honorable Mayor Edgar S. Lignes during the 67th Regional Management Committee Meeting of Department of Education Region X which was held at Hotel Monicon.

Serving in his capacity as OIC Mayor, Vice Mayor Loloy carried forward the commitment of the City Government to strengthen collaboration with the education sector, promote responsive leadership and support programs that uplift the quality of learning in Region 10.
