This morning, the 𝗟𝗼𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗵 𝗗𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗽𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗢𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗲 (𝗟𝗬𝗗𝗢) proudly facilitated the City Government's 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝗙𝗹𝗮𝗴 𝗥𝗮𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗖𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗼𝗻𝘆, bringing together public servants in a meaningful start to the week. 🇵🇭🤝🏽

Adding inspiration to the program, 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗩𝗼𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗞𝗶𝗱𝘀 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟰 𝗙𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘀𝘁 captivated the audience with a heartfelt musical performance, reminding everyone of the remarkable talent and potential of El Salvador City's youth. 🎶⭐

During the Office Updates, 𝗠𝘀. 𝗙𝗲𝗿𝗹𝘆𝗻 𝗗𝘂𝗻𝗻 𝗗. 𝗕𝘂𝗻𝗮, 𝗢𝗜𝗖-𝗟𝗬𝗗𝗢 presented the accomplishments and ongoing initiatives of the Local Youth Development Office, highlighting the City's continued commitment to empowering young people through programs on leadership development, youth participation, volunteerism, capacity-building, and other initiatives that foster holistic youth development. 📊🌱💙

💜 𝗦𝗧𝗥𝗘𝗡𝗚𝗧𝗛𝗘𝗡𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗢𝗨𝗥 𝗖𝗢𝗠𝗠𝗜𝗧𝗠𝗘𝗡𝗧 𝗧𝗢 𝗚𝗘𝗡𝗗𝗘𝗥-𝗥𝗘𝗦𝗣𝗢𝗡𝗦𝗜𝗩𝗘 𝗚𝗢𝗩𝗘𝗥𝗡𝗔𝗡𝗖𝗘.

Last 𝗝𝘂𝗹𝘆 𝟮𝟰, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲, the City Government of El Salvador, through its 𝗚𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗗𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗽𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗙𝗼𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗣𝗼𝗶𝗻𝘁 𝗦𝘆𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗺 (𝗚𝗙𝗣𝗦), convened its GFPS Meeting as a platform to strengthen inter-office collaboration and advance the effective implementation of Gender and Development (GAD) initiatives across the local government.🤝🏼

📊The meeting served as an avenue for GAD Program Handlers and member offices to present updates on the programs, projects, and activities under their respective responsibilities, discuss implementation concerns, and share best practices to enhance the delivery of gender-responsive services.

📝A significant part of the meeting was also dedicated to reviewing the 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟳 𝗚𝗔𝗗 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗕𝘂𝗱𝗴𝗲𝘁 (𝗚𝗣𝗕). Members discussed the comments and recommendations raised during the review process and identified necessary improvements to ensure that the proposed programs, projects, and activities are responsive to identified gender issues and compliant with existing GAD planning and budgeting guidelines.

🌱Through continuous collaboration, accountability, and shared commitment, the City Government of El Salvador remains steadfast in promoting inclusive, equitable, and gender-responsive governance for every 𝗧𝗮𝗴𝗻𝗶𝗽𝗮𝗻-𝗼𝗻.

📢 MONITORING AND EVALUATION (M&E) 2027!

READ | In reference with the SK Advisory 2026-P008. The National Youth Commission, through the SK Web Portal, is opening the 2027 Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) System for the implementation of the Local Youth Development Plan (LYDP), Comprehensive Barangay Youth Development Plan (CBYDP), and Annual Barangay Youth Investment Program (ABYIP).

As part of the preparation for the end-of-term submission and assessment of the current Sangguniang Kabataan administration, all SK-funded Programs, Projects, and Activities (PPAs) and General Administrative Programs (GAPs) implemented during 2024 (PPAs Only), 2025 (PPAs Only), and 2026 (PPAs and GAPs) must be encoded in the SK Web Portal, including those that were not previously submitted or were submitted late.

This serves as the official consolidation of accomplishments and will help ensure that every eligible activity undertaken during the current SK term is properly documented and reflected in the end-of-term monitoring and evaluation.

In addition, the 2027 M&E is now open for the encoding of PPAs and GAPs implemented from January 2026 onwards, allowing SK officials to record their accomplishments in real time until the completion of their term. Early encoding is highly encouraged to ensure accurate reporting, facilitate monitoring, and minimize delays during the final submission period.

👥 The activity brought together GAD Program Handlers from various offices to strengthen their knowledge and skills in planning, implementing, monitoring, and documenting GAD programs in accordance with audit standards and gender-responsive governance principles.

🎤 To enrich the learning experience and provide expert guidance, the City Government invited distinguished resource speakers from the 𝗣𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗽𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗻 𝗪𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗻 (𝗣𝗖𝗪) 𝗡𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗻 𝗠𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗼 𝗙𝗶𝗲𝗹𝗱 𝗢𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗲— 𝗚𝗿𝗲𝗴𝗼𝗿𝘆 𝗟𝗼𝘂𝗶𝘀 𝗖. 𝗤𝘂𝗶𝗺𝘇𝗼𝗻-𝗦𝗶𝗮𝗼, the new 𝗖𝗹𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗱 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗗𝗲𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗼𝗿 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗟𝗼𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗚𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 (𝗗𝗜𝗟𝗚) 𝗠𝗶𝘀𝗮𝗺𝗶𝘀 𝗢𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗹, whose valuable insights strengthened the participants' understanding of strategic, results-oriented, and audit-compliant GAD planning, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation.

📝 The seminar-workshop was 𝗳𝗮𝗰𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗯𝘆 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗟𝗼𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗵 𝗗𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗽𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗢𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗲 (𝗟𝗬𝗗𝗢), which serves as the Secretariat of the 𝗚𝗔𝗗 𝗙𝗼𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗣𝗼𝗶𝗻𝘁 𝗦𝘆𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗺 (𝗚𝗙𝗣𝗦) under the leadership of the City's GAD Focal Person, in partnership with the 𝗛𝘂𝗺𝗮𝗻 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗰𝗲 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗢𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗲 (𝗛𝗥𝗠𝗢).

🌟 Through initiatives such as this, the City Government of El Salvador continues to reinforce its commitment to building a competent and responsive workforce, ensuring that GAD programs translate from sound planning into measurable, impactful, and audit-compliant results.
