These outstanding individuals have successfully passed the first stage of the selection process following the office nomination period conducted from August 10 to 14, 2026, based on the nomination parameters and guidelines provided by the HRMO.

Now, the nominees move on to the next level of the competition—the Peer Assessment Evaluation, where their fellow employees will have the opportunity to assess and recognize their performance, dedication, work ethic, and contributions to the organization.

The Top 5 nominees in each category will advance to the Final Round, which will consist of a Panel Interview and Voting.

The 𝐇𝐮𝐦𝐚𝐧 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐜𝐞 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐎𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐞 (𝐇𝐑𝐌𝐎) of the 𝐋𝐨𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐆𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐄𝐥 𝐒𝐚𝐥𝐯𝐚𝐝𝐨𝐫 𝐂𝐢𝐭𝐲 conducted an orientation seminar on 𝐒𝐞𝐱𝐮𝐚𝐥 𝐇𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐜𝐞 yesterday, July 27,2026 held at the City Gymnasium to promote awareness and strengthen employees’ understanding of maintaining a safe, respectful, and inclusive working environment. 𝐌𝐬. 𝐐𝐮𝐞𝐞𝐧 𝐊𝐚𝐭𝐡𝐥𝐞𝐞𝐧 𝐘. 𝐓𝐚𝐩𝐚𝐲-𝐑𝐞𝐛𝐚𝐭𝐨 of the HRMO served as the resource person for the program.
Following the orientation, the HRMO Officer-in-Charge, 𝐄𝐧𝐠𝐫. 𝐆𝐢𝐥 𝐀. 𝐆𝐮𝐢𝐠𝐚𝐲𝐨𝐦𝐚, announced the conduct of a 𝐬𝐮𝐫𝐩𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐞 𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐨𝐦 𝐝𝐫𝐮𝐠 𝐭𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 among employees who attended the program. The activity aimed to reinforce the importance of maintaining a healthy, safe, and drug-free workplace.
These initiatives form part of the City Government’s continuing efforts to support the 𝐃𝐞𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐡’𝐬 𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐡𝐲 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐜𝐞 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐦, particularly 𝐏𝐫𝐢𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐀𝐫𝐞𝐚 𝐍𝐨. 6 – 𝐒𝐞𝐱𝐮𝐚𝐥 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐑𝐞𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐡 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐏𝐫𝐢𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐀𝐫𝐞𝐚 𝐍𝐨. 7 – 𝐒𝐮𝐛𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐔𝐬𝐞 𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐨𝐥. Through these activities, the HRMO continues to promote employee well-being, workplace safety, and a healthy and productive work environment.

The 𝐇𝐮𝐦𝐚𝐧 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐜𝐞 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐎𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐞 of the 𝐋𝐨𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐆𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐄𝐥 𝐒𝐚𝐥𝐯𝐚𝐝𝐨𝐫 𝐂𝐢𝐭𝐲 conducted a re-orientation program for all Job Order Personnel, followed by the signing of their contract renewals. The activity was held on July 20, 22, and 23, 2026, at the City Little Theater.

Under the leadership of the City Mayor Edgar "Esalig" Lignes, the Local Government Unit of El Salvador City successfully renewed the contracts of all existing Job Order Personnel, reaffirming its commitment to maintaining a competent, reliable, and service-oriented workforce in support of effective local governance and responsive public service delivery.

The 𝐇𝐮𝐦𝐚𝐧 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐜𝐞 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐎𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐞 (HRMO) participated in the two-day capacity development training entitled "𝑭𝒓𝒐𝒎 𝑷𝒍𝒂𝒏𝒏𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒕𝒐 𝑹𝒆𝒔𝒖𝒍𝒕𝒔: 𝑺𝒕𝒓𝒆𝒏𝒈𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒏𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝑪𝒂𝒑𝒂𝒄𝒊𝒕𝒚 𝒐𝒇 𝑷𝒓𝒐𝒈𝒓𝒂𝒎 𝑯𝒂𝒏𝒅𝒍𝒆𝒓𝒔 𝒇𝒐𝒓 𝑬𝒇𝒇𝒆𝒄𝒕𝒊𝒗𝒆 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝑨𝒖𝒅𝒊𝒕-𝑪𝒐𝒎𝒑𝒍𝒊𝒂𝒏𝒕 𝑮𝑨𝑫 𝑰𝒎𝒑𝒍𝒆𝒎𝒆𝒏𝒕𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏." The program was spearheaded by the 𝐆𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐃𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐥𝐨𝐩𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐅𝐨𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐏𝐨𝐢𝐧𝐭 𝐒𝐲𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐦 (GFPS) with Ms. Ferlyn Dunn D. Buna as the GAD Focal Person of the Local Government Unit of El Salvador City.

The HRMO served as the Technical Working Group (TWG) for the activity, which was held at Mallberry Suites and Business Hotel on July 14–15, 2026. The training was attended by GAD Program Handlers from various offices, including the City Social Welfare and Development Office, Persons with Disability Affairs Office, City Health Office, Local Youth Development Office, and City Civil Registrar's Office.

The training was facilitated by Mr. Gregory Louis C. Magbanua and Ms. Chandrae Leanne Y. Uy of the Philippine Commission on Women – Northern Mindanao Field Office, together with Ms. Lorjezza S. Quimzon-Siao, Cluster Head of the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) Misamis Oriental.

The activity aimed to strengthen the knowledge and capacities of GAD Program Handlers in planning, implementing, monitoring, and evaluating Gender and Development (GAD) programs and projects. It also sought to ensure that GAD initiatives are compliant with existing policies and audit requirements, thereby minimizing Commission on Audit (COA) findings and promoting the effective implementation of GAD programs within the Local Government Unit.
