The Philippine Coconut Authority (PCA) Region X successfully held its first-ever ๐๐ง-๐ญ๐ก๐-๐๐จ๐ ๐๐ซ๐๐ข๐ง๐ข๐ง๐ (๐๐๐) ๐๐ฎ๐ฅ๐ฆ๐ข๐ง๐๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง ๐๐ซ๐จ๐ ๐ซ๐๐ฆ on July 31, 2026, at the PCA X Regional Office and Training Center, Poblacion, El Salvador City, Misamis Oriental, honoring the pioneer batch of student interns from Mindanao State UniversityโMarawi Main Campus.
The program formally concluded the internship of students who completed their practicum from June 10 to July 24, 2026. Throughout their training, the interns gained valuable hands-on experience in administrative, technical, accounting, and field operations while actively participating in various PCA programs and activities across Misamis Oriental and Bukidnon. Their field immersion was facilitated by dedicated PCA agriculturists from Misamis Oriental and Bukidnon, who guided the interns in diverse project sites and communities across the two provinces.
Delivering the opening remarks on behalf of PCA Region X Regional Manager III Yvette B. Guanzon, Engr. Jose Danilo S. Ontalan, Project Development Officer IV, expressed the agency's appreciation to MSUโMarawi for entrusting its students to PCA Region X.

Meanwhile, Dr. Norhanie D. H. Jamel, Chairperson of the Department of Agricultural Education and Extension, College of Agriculture, MSUโMain Campus, conveyed her heartfelt appreciation to PCA Region X for providing the student-interns with a meaningful and enriching learning environment. She emphasized the importance of strong collaboration between academic institutions and government agencies in developing competent, values-driven, and industry-ready graduates, while expressing her continued support for future internship partnerships between MSU and PCA.
The culmination program highlighted the interns' accomplishments through presentations, photo documentation, and personal reflections, showcasing the knowledge, skills, and professional values they developed during their immersion.
