Thunderstorm Advisory No. 2

Light to Moderate to Occasionally Heavy rainshowers with lightning and strong winds are expected over (BraulioE.Dujali, CityOfPanabo, Carmen, CityOfTagum, NewCorella, SantoTomas, Asuncion), (Compostela, NewBataan, Mawab, Maco, Nabunturan), (Cateel, Baganga and Boston) within the next 1-2 hours.

All are advised to take precautionary measures against the impacts associated with these hazards which include flash floods and landslides.

Light to Moderate to Occasionally Heavy rainshowers with lightning and strong winds are expected over (Glan, Malapatan, Maasim), (DonMarcelino, Sarangani), (GovernorGeneroso, CityOfMati, SanIsidro, Tarragona, Caraga, Manay, Baganga) and (CityOfSamal) within the next 1-2 hours.

The above conditions are being experienced in (JoseAbadSantos) which may persist within 1-2 hours and may affect nearby areas.

All are advised to take precautionary measures against the impacts associated with these hazards which include flash floods and landslides.

All are advised to monitor updates from DOST-PAGASA.

SYNOPSIS: At 3:00 AM today, the center of Tropical Depression (TD) "ESTER" was estimated based on all available data at 350 km North Northeast of Itbayat, Batanes (23.8°N, 122.8°E) with maximum sustained winds of 45 km/h near the center and gustiness of up to 55 km/h. It is moving East Northeastward at 15 km/h. Localized Thunderstorm affecting Mindanao

FORECAST:
Mindanao will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or Thunderstorms caused by Localized Thunderstorms. Possible flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms. Light to moderate winds from south to southwest with slight to moderate seas (0.6 to 1.8 meters).
