BARANGAY IV Lantern
Our lantern reflects the theme “Antera Maki Pascua kang Enrile,” showcasing a Christmas celebration deeply rooted in culture, unity and sustainability. Crafted from bamboo, an indigenous and sustainable material, the lantern highlights the rich craftsmanship and bamboo proudly produced and made in Barangay IV, Enrile. Bamboo represents strength, resilience and flexibility which are values deeply rooted in the Enrileño spirit. The circular bamboo frame symbolizes unity and the shared spirit of Christmas among Enrileños, while the illuminated star at the center represents hope and guidance. Woven bamboo details and warm lights reflect simplicity and resilience, values that define our community. At the base, palay, corn husk and mani are incorporated to honor Enrile’s agricultural heritage and express gratitude for the blessings of harvest. Using recycled and indigenous materials, this lantern tells a story of tradition, livelihood, and a Christmas that is meaningful, sustainable and truly Enrileño.
