The National Center for Biosafety and Biosecurity (NCBB), under the EpiC Global Health Security (GHS) Project, is seeking a highly qualified technical expert to fill one (1) critical project-based role:

1️⃣ Policy and Governance Consultant
🔬 Focus: Review, development, enhancement, and harmonization of national and subnational biosafety and biosecurity policies, guidelines, frameworks, standards, and regulatory instruments.

📍 Duty Station: Regus Adriatico Square, Malate, Manila
📅 Contract Duration: September 01 to November 15 (total of 50 hours)
💼 Engagement Type: Part-time

The National Center for Biosafety and Biosecurity – National Institutes of Health, UP Manila is proud to present the 11th batch of the Basic Laboratory Biosafety and Biosecurity Course (BLBBC) on September 28 - October 2, 2026 at Hotel Kimberly, Pedro Gil St., Malate, Manila.

This is a 5-day onsite training with pending CPD application for Medical Technologists.

The training costs PhP 15,000.00 per participant, exclusive of transportation and hotel accommodation.

🔬 Focus: Development of the National High-Consequence Pathogen Reference List, Mapping Tool, and National Facility Database to strengthen the Philippines’ biosafety and biosecurity systems

2️⃣ Project Technical Specialist (Risk Assessment & National Framework)
📋 Focus: Leading the development of standardized laboratory risk assessment methodologies and the National Biosafety and Biosecurity Framework.
