Bringing Justice Closer to Communities Through ADR

Access to justice begins by bringing services and peaceful ways of resolving disputes closer to the people.

The Office for Alternative Dispute Resolution (OADR) joined the Department of Justice (DOJ) Katarungan Caravan on 21 September 2026 at the Guiguinto Municipal Athletic and Cultural Center in Guiguinto, Bulacan. The activity was organized by the DOJ Action Center (DOJAC) and the Office of Representative Agay Cruz.

The Caravan brought government services, legal assistance, and information on OADR services closer to the community, supporting greater access to justice.

It also featured informative discussions on issues affecting children and young people, including child protection and anti-bullying.

Through initiatives like the DOJ Katarungan Caravan, OADR continues to bring ADR closer to communities and promote dialogue, understanding, and peaceful approaches to resolving disputes.

Our sincere appreciation to everyone who visited and supported OADR during the activity.

As arbitration continues to evolve, knowledge exchange and professional dialogue remain important to strengthening the ADR community.

On 18 September 2026, OADR-PCMS Director Atty. Zenith Europa and Executive Assistant Atty. Andrea Cabatu attended the Inter-Pacific Bar Association (IPBA) Arbitration Day Manila 2026 at the University of the Philippines Bonifacio Global City Auditorium in Taguig City.

Under the theme β€œRethinking International Arbitration in an Evolving Global Landscape,” arbitration practitioners and stakeholders discussed emerging developments and issues, including artificial intelligence in arbitration, asset recovery, and expert testimony.

OADR is pleased to support platforms for knowledge exchange that contribute to the continuing development of arbitration and alternative dispute resolution in the Philippines.

Stronger ADR practice means more avenues for resolving disputes through effective and peaceful means.
