Doña Rosario C. Valdivia Elementary School proudly supports the 2026 National Women’s Month Celebration—a powerful call for Women and Everyone (WE) to advance gender equality and women’s empowerment in our communities and across the ASEAN region.
With this year’s sub-theme, “Lead like the Babaylans, Filipinas! ”, we honor the legacy of the Babaylans of pre-colonial Philippines—women who led with wisdom, empathy, courage, and deep responsibility for their people. Their example reminds us that true leadership is rooted in compassion, inclusion, and collective care.
As we celebrate women’s leadership in governance, education, peacebuilding, and economic development, we reaffirm our commitment to:
✨ Promote gender-responsive programs and equal opportunities
✨ Empower marginalized and underrepresented women
✨ Foster collaboration and inclusive participation
✨ Inspire our learners to value equality and respect
Together, let us embody Babaylan-inspired leadership in our school and community—because when women lead, communities thrive and nations grow stronger. 💪💜
