11th Completion and 6th Graduation Ceremonies

March 31, 2026 | 1:00 PM

The school successfully conducted its 11th Completion and 6th Graduation Ceremonies on March 31, 2026, at 1:00 PM, celebrating the achievements of the completers and graduates for the School Year 2025–2026. Anchored on the theme β€œFilipino Graduates: Prepared to Lead with Competence and Character,” the ceremony highlighted the readiness of learners to become competent, responsible, and value-driven individuals prepared for future challenges.

The program commenced with the Distribution of Certificates of Completion, Diplomas, and Special Awards, led by Sir Floyd G. Cabus, Principal I and Cluster Head – Cluster III, together with Ma'am Margarette Joy R. Anig-ig, School Head, recognizing the hard work, perseverance, and dedication of the learners throughout the academic year.

This was followed by the Conferment of Honors, facilitated by Sir Floyd G. Cabus, with the assistance of Sir Renz P. Macatobal, Grade 10 Adviser, and Ma'am Pearl Joy Q. Artajo, Grade 12 Adviser, acknowledging students who demonstrated academic excellence and commitment to their studies. During this part of the program, the Manlambus Torch Bearer – Escalante Eagles Club awarded the class Valedictorian with a cash gift, certificate, and gold medal in recognition of outstanding academic achievement. In addition, the Valedictorian also received a gold medal from the Office of the City Mayor, Hon. Mayor Beboy Yap, as a symbol of honor and excellence bestowed by the local government.

The Introduction of the Guest Speaker was delivered by King Bayani P. Pastor, JHS Completer, followed by the inspirational message of the Guest Speaker, Ms. Lorry Mae B. Manlunas, who encouraged the graduates to pursue their dreams with determination, integrity, and strong character. A Token and Certificate of Appreciation were presented to the guest speaker by Sir Floyd G. Cabus and Ma'am Margarette Joy R. Anig-ig as an expression of gratitude.

The ceremony continued with the Reading of the Message of the DepEd Secretary, delivered by Sir Floyd G. Cabus, emphasizing the significant role of education in shaping responsible and empowered Filipino citizens.

The Mayor’s Message was read and delivered by Former Sangguniang Panlungsod Member, Hon: Numeriano Talita, who conveyed the Mayor’s congratulations and support to the graduates. He also shared an inspiring account of his efforts and struggles in advocating for the establishment of extension schools in the mountain barangays, reminding everyone of the importance of accessible education and the collective efforts made to bring learning opportunities closer to the community.

Heartfelt Words of Gratitude were expressed by Pristelle Kaye D. Corrales, SHS Graduate with Honors, and Alex C. Catipay, JHS Completer with Honors, who extended appreciation to parents, teachers, and stakeholders for their unwavering support. The Pledge of Loyalty was led by Rose-Anne Joy B. Supilanas, SHS Graduate, symbolizing the learners’ commitment to uphold the values instilled by the institution.

One of the most emotional highlights of the ceremony was the Tribute to Parents Song (β€œIingatan Ka”) where they also gave tokens, hugs and kisses to their parents/guardians and the Completion and Graduation Song (β€œSaranggola”), performed by the completers and graduates, expressing gratitude, joy, and pride as they celebrated the culmination of their academic journey.

The Announcement and Closing Remarks were delivered by Ma'am Margarette Joy R. Anig-ig, School Head, reminding the graduates to continue embodying competence, resilience, and good character as they move forward to new endeavors. The ceremony concluded with the Recessional, marking a memorable milestone for both learners and the school community.

The success of the event was made possible through the collective efforts, dedication, and teamwork of the faculty and staff, whose commitment extended beyond the preparation of the ceremony itself. Their continuous guidance, patience, and hard work throughout the entire school year played a vital role in shaping the learners academically, socially, and morally, ensuring that they were fully prepared for this significant milestone in their lives.

Indeed, graduation and completion are not merely the end of an academic journey but the beginning of greater responsibilities and opportunities. As the completers and graduates step into a new chapter, they carry with them the knowledge, values, and lessons learned from their teachers and experiences in school. May they continue to strive for excellence, lead with integrity, and serve as responsible individuals who will contribute positively to their families, communities, and the nation.
