: President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. signed into law Republic Act No. 12314 or the Fiscal Year (FY) 2026 General Appropriations Act today, January 5, 2026, at the Ceremonial Hall, Malacañan Palace.

Anchored on the theme, “Agenda for Prosperity: Nurturing Future-Ready Generations to Achieve the Full Potential of the Nation,” the National Budget, amounting to Php 6.793 trillion, will prioritize the essentials that uphold the fundamental rights of the Filipino people.

With record-high budget allocations for Education, Healthcare, Agriculture, and Social Services, the FY 2026 National Budget is a testament to the PBBM Administration’s commitment to building a Bagong Pilipinas where every Filipino has the opportunity, support, and resources to thrive and contribute to our shared prosperity.

“Sa lahat ng adhikaing ito, dalangin ko na maging katuwang namin ang bawat mamamayang Pilipino—ang pagbabantay, ang pagtatanong, ang pag-uulat, at ang pakikilahok sa mahahalagang bahagi ng isang gumaganang demokrasya. Kasama ninyo kami sa layuning tiyakin na ang budget ng bayan ay para sa bayan.
