Hon. Eric Rey G. Siohan, Sangguniang Bayan Member and Chairperson of the Committee on Environmental Protection and Ecology, spearheaded a significant committee hearing tackling vital environmental policies for the Municipality of Esperanza, Agusan del Sur.

🔹 Discussed during the hearing:
📌 Draft Sangguniang Bayan Resolution No. 130-2025, authored by Hon. Siohan, entitled:
“A Resolution Adopting the Ecological Solid Waste Management Plan C.Y. 2026–2035”

📌 Draft Municipal Ordinance No. 366-2025, also authored by Hon. Siohan, entitled:
“An Ordinance Institutionalizing the Annual Search of Barangay Administration and Management Best Implementation (BAMBI) Program in the Municipality of Esperanza, Agusan del Sur and Appropriating Funds Thereof”

These initiatives aim to strengthen environmental governance and recognize outstanding barangay leadership in local administration and management.

👥 Resource Persons Present:
MENRO, Acting MBO, MPDC, MEO, MHO, MDRRMO, EMWS-Manager, MAGRO, MSWDO, MTO, MACCO, MASSO, Senior Tourism Officer, MCDO, and representatives from CSOs.

Through collaborative efforts, these proposed measures reflect a shared commitment to environmental sustainability and effective grassroots governance. 🌍🌿
