The Municipality of Esperanza successfully conducted the DSWD Walang Gutom Program Release for 83 beneficiaries, bringing hope and support to families in need. 💙

The activity was graced by the presence of our Municipal Mayor, Hon. JJ Talisic, whose unwavering commitment continues to strengthen social protection programs and uplift the lives of our constituents.

The Municipality of Esperanza proudly kicks off the Women’s Month Sports Festival 2026, celebrating the strength, unity, and empowerment of women in our community! 💜

The energy soared high as the festival officially opened with a vibrant Cheerdance Competition, showcasing the talent, creativity, and teamwork of our amazing women from the four clusters:

The SDCA conducted by Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) for the Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office (MSWDO) marks a significant step forward in enhancing the quality and effectiveness of public service in our community.

We sincerely express our deepest appreciation to the DSWD Team for their expertise, guidance, and technical assistance extended to the LGU, particularly to the MSWDO. We also recognize the invaluable support of all partner departments within the LGU, whose collaboration contributed to the success of this undertaking.

Ang mga benepisyaryong wala pang National ID ay hinihikayat na magparehistro sa pinakamalapit na tanggapan ng Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA). Magkakaroon din ng PhilSys registration tuwing payout para mapadali ang pagpaparehistro ng ating mga senior citizens.

Pupuntahan naman ng PSA ang mga bedridden na benepisyaryo para sila ay irehistro.

Today’s parade brought together our firefighters, uniformed personnel, barangay officials, women’s organizations, schools, and community members — showcasing our shared commitment to building a safer and more inclusive Esperanza.

With the strong leadership and support of Mayor JJ, our municipality continues to promote fire safety awareness while championing the vital role of women in nation-building and local development.

IN PHOTOS: LGU Esperanza, Masbate spearheaded two (2) batches s of Training on Barangay Protocol, Diversion Toolkit, and Juvenile Justice Management Information System (JJMIS) on January 6-8 and 21-23, 2026 at Conference Hall, 3rd Floor, Municipal Building, Esperanza, Masbate.

The activity was actively participated in by the members of the BCPC composed of Barangay Chairpersons, Barangay Secretaries and VAW Desk Officers, and members of the MCPC.

The activity aimed to enhance the knowledge and competencies of the barangay and municipal duty-bearers in the proper handling of children at risk and children in conflict with the law, strengthen the implementation of diversion measures, and ensure accurate and efficient data management through the JJMIS.

✨ 𝐋𝐢𝐰𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐠 𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐚 𝐬𝐚 𝐎𝐒𝐂𝐘: 𝐂𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐛𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐂𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐭𝐲, 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐆𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫 𝐅𝐚𝐢𝐫𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬 ✨

Under the inspiring leadership of Hon. Jeffrey Justin T. Talisic, Municipal Mayor, in collaboration with the Municipal Youth Development Office, the Municipality of Esperanza successfully held the Barangay Parol Making Contest with the theme “Liwanag para sa OSCY: Gender-Fair Community Starts at Home” on December 17, 2025, at Esperanza, Masbate.

The activity was conducted in two meaningful parts. PART I marked the OSCY Federation Election, empowering out-of-school youth to take part in leadership and representation. PART II showcased the Barangay Parol Making Contest Awarding, highlighting the creativity, teamwork, and advocacy of our youth through parols that reflected gender fairness and community values.

We proudly recognize the outstanding achievements of the participating barangays. Barangay Labrador emerged as a standout, winning both the People’s Choice Award 2025 for OSCY Video Documentation and People’s Choice Award 2025 for OSCY Parol, and was also declared the Sole Winner for Best Video Documentation.

For the overall results of the Barangay Parol Making Contest:

🥈 2nd Place – Barangay Domorog
🏆 Champion – Barangay Labrador
