LOOK: Esperanza Secures Top 2 Spot in Sultan Kudarat for Locally Sourced Income
The Municipality of Esperanza, under the leadership of Mayor Jun-Jun Ploteña, has achieved an outstanding economic milestone by ranking Top 2 among all municipalities in Sultan Kudarat for Locally Sourced Income (LSI) in 2025. Based on the data released by the Bureau of Local Government Finance, Esperanza generated a substantial Php 41.64 Million in LSI, positioning the municipality as one of the premier economic drivers and top-performing local government units within the SOCCSKSARGEN Region. This remarkable achievement reflects a thriving local economy marked by robust business activity, steady investments, and efficient tax collection systems.
Locally Sourced Income represents the revenue earned directly by the LGU through local taxes, regulatory fees, permits, and service charges, independent of national government allocations like the National Tax Allotment (NTA). Mayor Jun-Jun Ploteña extends his deepest gratitude to the local business owners, entrepreneurs, taxpayers, and the hardworking men and women of the LGU whose collective contributions made this recognition possible. This fiscal milestone ensures greater financial capability and sustainability for our local government, paving the way for more impactful infrastructure, health, and social services for every Esperanzahanon.
