MINDANAO GRID ALERT | Gipahibalo sa National Grid Corporation of the Philippines (NGCP) ang Yellow Alert sa Mindanao Grid karong Agosto 11, 2026, atol sa mosunod nga mga oras:

Base sa update alas-8:00 sa buntag, ang available capacity sa grid anaa sa 2,672 megawatts (MW), samtang ang peak demand gibana-banang moabot sa 2,527 MW.
Nakarehistro usab og 12 ka power plants nga naka-forced outage, diin pito (7) niini sukad pa niadtong Hulyo, usa (1) sukad Hunyo, duha (2) sukad Enero, usa (1) sukad 2025, ug duha (2) sukad 2024.
Dugang pa niini, lima ka power plants ang nag-operate sa derated capacities, nga nagresulta sa kinatibuk-ang 709.1 MW nga unavailable sa grid.
Lakip sa mga hinungdan sa Yellow Alert mao ang:
- Maintenance outage sa GNPK 2 sukad Hulyo 28, 2026;
- Extended outage sa SEC 2, nga gikatakdang matapos unta niadtong Agosto 6; ug
- Emergency shutdown sa GNPK 1 niadtong Agosto 9 tungod sa boiler tube leak.
Ang Yellow Alert ipagawas kung dili igo ang operating margin aron matubag ang gikinahanglang contingency requirement sa transmission grid.

12 plants are on forced outage on August 2026, 7 plants since July, 1 plant since June, 2 plants since January, 1 plant since 2025, and 2 plants since 2024, while 5 plants are running on derated capacities, for a total of 709.1MW unavailable to the grid.
