PSA Maguindanao Conducts Data Turnover Ceremony of the 2024 Community-Based Monitoring System for the Local Government Unit of Datu Abdullah Sangki

The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) – Maguindanao Provincial Statistical Office conducted a data turnover ceremony for the 2024 Community-Based Monitoring System (CBMS) for the Local Government Unit of Datu Abdullah Sangki.

A team from the Philippine Statistics Authority – Maguindanao visited the Municipality of Datu Abdullah Sangki to facilitate the official turnover of the 2024 CBMS data. The activity was led by Chief Statistical Specialist Naldo G. Pendaliday, MPA, and was graced by the Local Chief Executive, Honorable Suharto Al Wali S. Mangudadatu. Also present during the activity was PSA RSSO-BARMM SOCD Chief Edward Donald F. Eloja, who attended as representative of the Regional Director.

The Municipality of Datu Abdullah Sangki proudly stands as the first municipality in Maguindanao to receive the official turnover of the 2024 Community-Based Monitoring System (CBMS) data, marking a significant milestone in data-driven governance and local development planning.

The activity was successfully initiated and spearheaded by the Data Protection Officer, Reynald C. Agad, LPT, in coordination with Statistician I, Shiela Mae P. Deloso, LPT. Various department heads and LGU personnel were also present during the activity.

The Local Government Unit of Datu Abdullah Sangki, as the Personal Information Controller (PIC), has successfully renewed its registration with the National Privacy Commission. Data Protection Officer Reynald C. Agad, LPT, together with Shiela Mae P. Deloso, LPT, the Municipal Statistician and CBMS Focal Person, successfully posted the registration logo in the different offices of the municipality. The registration is valid until October 11, 2026.

It was attended by Mr. Reynald C. Agad, LPT, the Data Protection Officer Designate, and Ms. Shiela Mae P. Deloso, LPT, the Municipal Statistician.

The resource speaker was Mr. Rowelito R. Jimenez, Training Specialist III, Legal Service, Data Protection and Security Unit, Philippine Statistics Authority.

The objectives of this Privacy Impact Assessment Training and Workshop are to identify and mitigate privacy risks, and to notify the public about which personally identifiable information is being collected. This three-day training and workshop were attended by REYNALD C. AGAD, LPT, the Local Youth Development Assistant I / Data Protection Officer Designate, together with Municipal Statistician SHIELA MAE P. DELOSO, LPT, and LANIE A. CASTANAREZ, JD and her office staff.
