As of 2:00 PM today, 23 August 2026, the Tropical Depression with international name "GAENARI" (formerly "NENENG") is being monitored OUTSIDE the PAR.

Meanwhile, the Tropical Depression (formerly LPA 08h) is being monitored OUTSIDE the PAR.

The Typhoon with international name "SAUDEL" is also being monitored OUTSIDE the PAR.

All are advised to monitor updates from DOST-PAGASA.

Issued at: 4:00 PM, 23 August 2026(Sunday)

Moderate to heavy rainshowers with lightning and strong winds are expected over Pampanga, Quezon(Infanta, Real, General Nakar, Perez, Alabat, Mauban, Calauag, Quezon, Sampaloc), Bulacan(Dona Remedios Trinidad, San Miguel, San Ildefonso, San Rafael), Bataan(Samal, Abucay, Orani, Hermosa, Dinalupihan, Morong, Balanga, Bagac) and Batangas(Tanauan, Santo Tomas, Talisay) within the next 2-3 hours.

The above conditions are being experienced in Zambales(Cabangan, Botolan, Candelaria, Masinloc, Palauig, Iba, San Marcelino), Nueva Ecija(Gabaldon), Tarlac(San Jose, Capas), Rizal(Binangonan, Cardona, Jala-Jala, Pililla) and Laguna(Mabitac, Pakil, Famy, Siniloan, Santa Maria, Pangil) which may persist within 2 hours and may affect nearby areas.

All are advised to take precautionary measures against the impacts associated with these hazards which include flash floods and landslides.

As of 8:00 PM today, 22 August 2026, the Tropical Depression with international name "GAENARI" (formerly "NENENG") has exited the monitoring domain of PAGASA.
Meanwhile, the Tropical Depression (formerly LPA 08h) is being monitored OUTSIDE the PAR.
The Typhoon with international name "SAUDEL" is also being monitored OUTSIDE the PAR.
All are advised to monitor updates from DOST-PAGASA.

As of 2:00 PM today, 21 August 2026, LPA 08f (formerly "NENENG") is being monitored OUTSIDE the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) and has a MEDIUM chance of redeveloping into a Tropical Depression within the next 24 hours.
Meanwhile, LPA 08h is being monitored OUTSIDE the PAR and has a MEDIUM chance of developing into a Tropical Depression within the next 24 hours.
The Severe Tropical Storm, with international name "SAUDEL", is also being monitored OUTSIDE the PAR.

As of 2:00 PM today, 20 August 2026, Tropical Depression “NENENG” has weakened into a Low Pressure Area (LPA) and is being monitored inside the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR).

Monitoring of Tropical Storm "SAUDEL" continues OUTSIDE the PAR.

Meanwhile, an LPA (08h) has formed inside the Tropical Cyclone Information Domain (TCID) and is now being monitored.
