Three esteemed members of the judiciary paid a courtesy visit to Hon. Mayor Dr. Timoteo T. Capoquian Jr. of Gamay on May 6, 2026, strengthening collaboration in the delivery of justice to the people of Gamay.

Present during the visit were:

โ€ข Hon. Clarence Cherreguine, Presiding Judge, 1st Municipal Circuit Trial Court of Gamay
โ€ข Hon. Allan Sixto G. Estudillo, former MCTC Judge of Gamay and now Provincial Prosecutor of Northern Samar

The meeting highlighted the shared commitment of the judiciary and the local government in upholding justice, integrity, and public service.

As part of the program, the LGU Gamay, through the Sangguniang Bayan, presented:

On May 4, 2026, during the session of the Sangguniang Panlalawigan, the Sangguniang Bayan of Gamay was proudly recognized as the National Winner of the 2026 Local Legislative Award for the 4thโ€“6th Class Municipality Category.

The award was officially received during the National Congress and the First Quarter Continuing Local Legislative Education Program (CLLEP) held from March 4 to 6 in Pasay City.

Through a Resolution of Commendation, their exemplary, dynamic, and sustainable efforts in crafting ordinances that bring meaningful benefits to the people were duly acknowledged.
