LGU GANDARA HONORS CENTENARIAN WITH CASH INCENTIVE

The Local Government Unit (LGU) of Gandara, under the leadership of Hon. Warren T. Aguilar, Municipal Mayor, through the Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office (MSWDO) headed by Judith G. Asis, RSW represented by Ms. Rolina Fabi, and the Office of Senior Citizens Affairs (OSCA) headed by Lucina Estrelles, personally handed over the cash incentive amounting to Fifty Thousand Pesos (P 50, 000) for Centenarian to Ms. Felisa Ciego, a resident of Barangay Minda, Gandara, Samar.

In addition, Ms. Felisa Ciego is also set to receive a ₱100,000.00 cash incentive from the Department of Social Welfare and Development Field Office VIII (DSWD FO8).
The required documents have already been submitted to DSWD FO8 and are currently being processed for the release of the incentive.

DAYCARE CENTER OF BRGY. DIAZ, GANDARA, SAMAR through Geneliza Guindatuan - CDW/CDT conducted Nutrition Month Celebration 2026 participated by her daycare children.

The Nutrition activity was attended by the MSWDO Representative MA. THERESA A. PILOTON - ECCD FOCAL.

The daycare children wear colorful and unique costumes made from Go, Grow, Glow foods, promoting the importance of healthy eating and proper nutrition.

They also joined fun-filled games and activities inspired by Go, Grow, Glow foods, making learning about nutrition enjoyable and interactive.
