May 29, 2026 | 5th Monthly Liga Meeting of the Liga ng mga Barangay- Gandara Municipal Chapter

The Liga ng mga Barangay- Gandara Municipal Chapter successfully held its 5th Monthly Liga Meeting at the Liga Hall Building, bringing together barangay officials and leaders to discuss key issues, programs, and initiatives aimed at strengthening local governance and enhancing public service delivery across the municipality.

The meeting was presided over by Hon. Ruby R. Delector, Liga President of Gandara and Provincial Liga President of the Samar Chapter, who highlighted the significance of regular consultations, collaboration, and unity among barangay officials in addressing community concerns and advancing development efforts at the grassroots level.

Also present during the meeting were Ms. Dina R. Isanan, Municipal Local Government Operations Officer (MLGOO), and Dr. Mark John Dupitas, OIC Municipal Health Officer, who provided valuable updates, guidance, and technical inputs on governance compliance, health-related programs, and other regulatory matters affecting the barangays.

The gathering served as an important platform for discussing current issues, sharing best practices, and reinforcing the commitment of barangay leaders toward responsive, transparent, and effective local governance. Through continuous coordination and partnership, the Liga ng mga Barangay remains steadfast in promoting programs and initiatives that contribute to the welfare, progress, and sustainable development of the Municipality of Gandara.

Naipamahagi na sa Region VIII ang ₱200,000 na pondo sa ilalim ng Bawat Barangay Makikinabang Program ngayong araw sa isinagawang rollout sa Tacloban City.

Pinangunahan ni Pangulong Bongbong Marcos Jr. ang distribution para sa mga barangay sa Samar Province, Northern Samar Province, Eastern Samar Province, Leyte Province, Southern Leyte Province, Biliran Province, Ormoc City at Tacloban City na tinanggap ng mga Liga Chapter Presidents ng mga nabanggit na lugar kasama ang kanilang mga Mayor.

Dumalo rin ang 690 scholars sa Tacloban City na pinili ng kani-kanilang barangay na nabigyan ng educational assistance sa ilalim ng nasabing programa.

Ang Bawat Barangay Makikinabang Program ay naglalayong magbigay ng direktang tulong pinansyal sa mga barangay upang agad matugunan ang mga pangunahing pangangailangan ng komunidad, mapalakas ang lokal na pamamahala, at mas mapabilis ang paghahatid ng serbisyo sa bawat mamamayan.

Kung may katanungan o nangangailangan ng gabay tungkol sa programa, magpadala lamang po ng mensahe sa amin upang kayo ay aming matulungan.

April 24, 2026 | Gandara Holds 4th Monthly Liga Meeting, Discusses SCPF and ARTA Concerns

The Liga ng mga Barangay - Gandara Municipal Chapter successfully conducted its 4th Monthly Liga Meeting, gathering barangay officials to discuss important matters concerning local governance, compliance, and development initiatives.

The meeting was presided over by Hon. Ruby R. Delector, Liga President of Gandara and Provincial Liga President of the Samar Chapter, who emphasized the importance of regular consultations and collective action in addressing the needs and priorities of the barangays.

Present during the meeting were Ms. Dina R. Isanan, Municipal Local Government Operations Officer (MLGOO), and Ms. Venus Biñas, Designate BPLO, who provided guidance and technical inputs on matters related to governance compliance and regulatory concerns.

Among the major agenda discussed was the SPCF Socio-Civic Projects Fund (SCPF), where barangay officials were oriented on the guidelines, requirements, and implementation processes related to proposed socio-civic projects intended to benefit their respective communities. Discussions focused on proper documentation, project identification, and compliance with funding procedures to ensure effective utilization of resources.

Also tackled during the meeting were matters concerning the Anti-Red Tape Authority (ARTA), with discussions centered on compliance with ease of doing business standards, streamlining frontline services, and promoting transparency and efficiency in barangay-level transactions. Ms. Venus Biñas shared relevant information related to business permit and licensing processes, while Ms. Dina R. Isanan reinforced the importance of compliance and good governance practices consistent with existing policies and standards.

The meeting also served as a venue for barangay officials to raise concerns, share updates, and exchange insights on ongoing programs and challenges encountered in their communities. Through an open forum, participants discussed practical approaches and strengthened collaboration among barangays.

The 4th Monthly Liga Meeting reaffirmed the commitment of Gandara’s barangay leaders and partner agencies to uphold accountability, responsive governance, and the effective implementation of programs that support community development and improved public service delivery.

Sa pamamagitan ng LNC No. 2026-007B, naglabas ng energy conservation protocols ang Liga ng mga Barangay sa Pilipinas bilang suporta sa pambansang polisiya sa pagtitipid ng enerhiya at responsableng paggamit ng pondo ng gobyerno.

Mga pangunahing hakbang:
1. Pagtitipid sa kuryente sa opisina (aircon sa 24°C pataas, patayin ang ilaw at equipment kapag hindi gamit)
2. Paggamit ng natural lighting at energy-efficient devices
3. Pagpapalawak ng virtual meetings at paperless transactions
4. Paglilimita at pagsasaayos ng official travel at meetings
5. Pagsusulong ng fuel-efficient transport (route optimization, iwas idle)
6. Paggamit ng virtual/hybrid setup at lokal na venue sa Liga activities
7. Pagpapatupad ng flexible work arrangements kung maaari
8. Pagsusulong ng energy conservation awareness sa barangay level

Kasabay nito, tiniyak ng Liga na mananatiling tuloy-tuloy at hindi maaapektuhan ang serbisyo publiko habang isinasakatuparan ang mga hakbang na ito, na naiparating na rin sa lahat ng Liga chapters sa buong bansa para sa agarang implementasyon.
