Preparedness in Action: BEES joins 1st National Simultaneous Earthquake Drill and Fire Safety Lecture
Our school actively participated in the 1st National Simultaneous Earthquake Drill, carrying the theme “Duck, Cover, and Hold: Gawin Dapat, Pero Hindi Sapat.” This activity highlighted the importance of preparedness and awareness in ensuring the safety of both learners and school personnel during earthquake emergencies.
After the drill, the learners gathered in the gymnasium for an informative lecture led by the BEES personnel, where they discussed earthquake preparedness and the proper safety measures to observe during such situations.
In line with the observance of Fire Prevention Month, the session also included a lecture on fire safety and the proper use of fire extinguishers. To further enhance learning, selected teaching personnel, non-teaching staff, and learners were handpicked to participate in a demonstration on the correct handling and use of fire extinguishers, allowing them to experience the proper procedures firsthand.
Through activities like these, our school continues to promote awareness, preparedness, and responsibility in responding to emergencies, helping build a safer and more resilient school community.
