The Regional Functionality Assessment of the Local Project Monitoring Committees (LPMCs) in Region XII is currently underway.

The assessment aims to evaluate the functionality and effectiveness of LPMCs in monitoring the implementation of local government projects, promoting transparency and accountability, and ensuring that projects deliver meaningful benefits to our communities.

Through this initiative, we continue to strengthen local project monitoring and uphold good governance across Region XII.

Mayor Lorelie G. Pacquiao has issued Executive Order No. 47 declaring the suspension of classes at all levels in both public and private schools, and the suspension of work in private and government offices in General Santos City today, August 5, 2026 (Wednesday), following the magnitude 6.4 earthquake and the ground shaking experienced in the city.

Residents are advised to remain vigilant, monitor official advisories, and prioritize their safety.
