On July 29, 2026 | Under the Department of Information and Communications Technology program "𝗜𝗖𝗧 𝗥𝗘𝗔𝗗𝗜𝗡𝗘𝗦𝗦 𝗔𝗦𝗦𝗘𝗦𝗦𝗠𝗘𝗡𝗧" that aimed to evaluate the current capabilities of the ICT of all Local Government Units. Representatives from LGU Alabel, Malapatan, and Malungon — actively participated in this initiative held at the DICT-Sargen Digital Transformation Center.

Through this assessment, it provides the LGUs an opportunity to measure the level of digital strengths and recognize areas that help for further enhancement in the digital transformation. Focused on ICT governance, digital infrastructure, cyber security, data management, and government services. By gathering information, this will help a baseline to guide future ICT planning and policy development.

According to Engr. Damian M. Cañizar Jr., Provincial Officer of Department of Information and Technology Sarangani-Gensan; this initiative will reflect on building digitally empowered communities that will embrace innovation, resilience, and an inclusive nation to work towards the future.

Together, we continue to work towards a future where technology serves as a catalyst for effective governance, sustainable progress, and improved public service delivery for every Filipino.
