Coordination Meeting with the City Legal Office

The Lupong Tagapamayapa of Barangay Bula expresses its sincere gratitude to Atty. Marites Taniegra, Head of the City Legal Office, General Santos City, for the meaningful and productive coordination meeting held on August 7, 2026, at 1:30 PM.

The meeting served as a valuable avenue for strengthening coordination, enhancing the Lupon’s knowledge and capacity in dispute resolution, and ensuring the proper and effective implementation of the Katarungang Pambarangay Law.

⚖️ CITY LEGAL COORDINATION MEETING | JUDICIAL SYSTEM SEMINAR

Padayon ang pagpalig-on sa kahibalo ug kapasidad sa atong Lupong Tagapamayapa sa Barangay Bula pinaagi sa usa ka makahuluganon nga Seminar on the Judicial System nga gipangunahan sa atong Guest Speaker, Atty. Marites Taniegra.

Dako ang among pasalamat sa pagpaambit sa iyang kahibalo ug kasinatian nga nakatabang sa pagpalambo sa serbisyo sa hustisya ug maayong pagdumala sa barangay. Ang maong seminar naghatag ug mas lawom nga pagsabot sa legal nga proseso ug sa responsibilidad sa mga miyembro sa Lupong Tagapamayapa sa pagdumala sa mga panaglalis sa komunidad.

Ang Barangay Bula, ubos sa pagpanguna ni Punong Barangay Nicanora "Nic-Nic" Tero Vargas, magpadayon sa paghatag og kalidad nga serbisyo pinaagi sa padayon nga pagkat-on ug pagpalig-on sa kapasidad sa atong mga opisyal.

As part of our continuing commitment to excellence under the Lupong Tagapamayapa Incentives Awards (LTIA), the Lupong Tagapamayapa successfully conducted an In-House Seminar on Small Claims to strengthen the knowledge, competence, and legal awareness of its members in handling community disputes and understanding the Small Claims process.

We extend our sincere gratitude and appreciation to Ma'am Mary Jane Corpuz for generously sharing her expertise, valuable insights, and practical guidance. Her informative discussion greatly enhanced our understanding of the Small Claims procedure and inspired us to continue delivering efficient, fair, and people-centered barangay justice.

Through continuous learning and capacity-building, we remain committed to upholding the principles of accessible justice, peaceful dispute resolution, and quality public service for every member of our community.

KP Law Dissemination for Daycare Center Parents
July 6 & 13, 2026

Building Peace Through Education and Community Service. 📚🤝

The Lupong Tagapamayapa successfully conducted a KP Law Information Dissemination for the parents of the Day Care Center, promoting awareness of the Katarungang Pambarangay Law, the value of amicable settlement, and the importance of resolving conflicts peacefully within the community.

As part of the activity, school supplies were also distributed to the Day Care Center pupils to support their educational needs and encourage them to pursue learning with enthusiasm. This initiative reflects our commitment to nurturing not only peaceful communities but also brighter opportunities for every child.

Together, let us continue to strengthen families, empower communities, and inspire the next generation through education, cooperation, and service.

🛡️ Cybercrime Prevention and Awareness Seminar for the Lupong Tagapamayapa

As part of our continuing commitment to strengthen the capabilities of the Lupong Tagapamayapa, a Cybercrime Prevention and Awareness Seminar was conducted to enhance members' knowledge and awareness of cyber-related offenses, online safety, digital evidence, and the relevant laws on cybercrime.

The seminar equipped Lupon members with valuable information that will help them better educate the community, recognize cyber-related concerns, and appropriately guide residents on matters beyond the jurisdiction of the Katarungang Pambarangay.

Through continuous learning and capacity-building, the Lupong Tagapamayapa remains committed to providing responsive, informed, and effective public service for a safer and more cyber-aware community6
