READ | MEMORANDUM NO. CMO2026-AUG-JMA-0274-A from the City Mayor's Office on the observance of the Regular and Special (Non-Working) Holidays in August 2026.

Pursuant to Presidential Proclamation No. 1006, Series of 2025, the Local Government Unit of General Santos City observes August 21, 2026 (Friday) as Ninoy Aquino Day, a Special (Non-Working) Day, and August 31, 2026 (Monday) as the National Heroes Day, a Regular Holiday.

However, in the exigency of service, government employees and job order workers assigned to offices performing frontline and essential services including health, public safety, traffic enforcement, disaster risk reduction and management, sanitation, and other critical public services shall continue to report for duty and perform their regular functions.

Please be guided accordingly.
