Ngayong Araw ng mga Bayani, ating alalahanin at parangalan ang mga bayaning nag-alay ng kanilang buhay, tapang, at sakripisyo para sa kalayaan at kinabukasan ng ating bayan.

Ang kanilang katapangan ay ating inspirasyon. Ang kanilang sakripisyo ay ating pamana. Nawa’y magsilbi itong paalala na ang pagmamahal sa bayan ay naipapakita sa bawat mabuting gawa, tapat na paglilingkod, at paninindigan para sa kapwa.

Magmahal. Maglingkod. Manindigan. Para sa GenSan! Para sa Pilipinas!

Attended the Local School Board (LSB) Meeting, focusing on strengthening the safety and security of our schools, especially in light of recent events.

Also discussed were the 2027 Special Education Fund (SEF) Budget, SEF project and procurement updates, and the allocation of funds for additional security measures, including CCTV cameras in different schools.

The meeting was presided over by DepEd GenSan Schools Division Superintendent Isagani Dela Cruz and attended by other LSB members, including Ma’am Lulu Casabuena, Executive Assistant and representative of the Honorable City Mayor Lorelie Geronimo Pacquiao.

Our children’s safety is our shared responsibility. Let us continue working together to make every school a safe place to learn, grow, and thrive. 🙏🏫

ONGOING | 48th REGULAR SESSION

During the Privilege Hour, City Councilor Dominador Lagare III presented the proposed pilot testing for the conversion of conventional tricycles into electric tricycles (E-Trikes)—a step toward exploring cleaner and more sustainable transportation options for the city.

Upon the request of City Councilor Elizabeth Bagonoc, updates on the 2026 Tuna Festival Celebration were also discussed, with Mr. Kenrick G. Teng, President/Chairperson , and Ms. Rosanna Bernadette Contreras, Executive Director of the SOCSKSARGEN Federation of Fishing and Allied Industries, Inc. (SFFAII), together with Atty. Leonard Flores, Head of CEMCDO and Mr. Joey John E. Concepcion, Executive Assistant of the City Mayor’s Office and Festival Director, serving as resource persons during the Q&A.

Honored to serve as Guest of Honor and Speaker, this morning, during the opening of the Sports Festival 2026 of the Public Safety Officer Candidate Course and Public Safety Junior Leadership Course, Regional Training Center 12 Batch 2026-01, with the theme: “Forging Strength, Building Camaraderie, Inspiring Excellence”.

Through sports, we strengthen not only our bodies but also our character. We learn the value of teamwork, respect, perseverance, and camaraderie—values that translate into better leadership and more effective public service.

My congratulations to PCOL Edgar M. Casison, Chief, Regional Training Center 12; PLTCOL Joffret M. Todeño, Assistant Chief; PMAJ Noel E. Dela Cruz, Chief, Administrative Section; PMAJ Nicholas A. Escartin Jr., Chief, Academics Section; and to all the participants and organizers for promoting a culture of health, excellence, and unity.

May this Sports Festival inspire everyone to stay active, healthy, disciplined, and committed—not only to becoming better public safety officers, but better individuals in service to our people.
