August 5, 2026| Police Station 1 Drug Enforcement Team conducted buy bust entrapment operation on illegal drugs at Darimco Silway, Barangay Dadiangas West, General Santos City.
The operation resulted to the arrest of the suspect, a resident of Fatima Silway, Barangay Dadiangas West, General Santos City .
Seizing Officer was able to recover one (1) piece color black coin purse containing three (3) pieces medium size and one (1) piece large size rectangular heat-sealed transparent plastic sachet containing white crystalline substance believed to be shabu.
Recovered drug evidence weighed more or less 10.83 grams with estimated SDP value amounting to Seventy Three Thousand Six Hundred Forty Four Pesos (Php 73,644.00).
Recovered drugs will be turn over to General Santos City Forensic Unit 12 for qualitative and quantitative examinations.
The marking and inventory of recovered pieces of evidence was conducted at the place of incident by assigned police poseur buyer and assigned arresting/seizing officer witnessed by elected official from Barangay Dadiangas West, and representative from media in the presence of the suspect.
The suspect was informed on the nature of his arrest and was apprised on his constitutional rights in a language known to him which he fully understood then he was brought to Jorge P Royeca Hospital for medical examination and subsequently placed inside custodial facility of this station while criminal complaints for violation of Section 5 and 11 Art. II of RA 9165 is being prepared for filing before the Prosecutorโs Office, General Santos City.
