GenSan to form Local Land Review, Regulatory and Arbitration Board

The city government is planning to form a Local Land Review, Regulatory and Arbitration Board which will take charge of reviewing landholdings in the city in an effort to resolve land conflicts.

This move is in response to numerous land disputes here in the city which has resulted to misunderstandings and violence among claimants.

Also, alleged fake title were also discovered lately which is suspected to be the handiwork unscrupulous personalities with connections to government agencies involved in the issuance of land titles.

City Councilor Rosalita Nunez recently conducted a committee hearing purposely to discuss this proposal which according to her is the best way to address land conflicts here in the city.

Nunez is the author of proposed City Ordinance No.2014-1023, series of 2014, the measure which will create the LLRRAB.

The LLRRAB is tasked to review from the start of the titling process the documents so that applicants will know whether the land they are applying for title has no other claimant.

Through the Board, fake titles and land disputes can be prevented and at the same time the applicants are protected from the alleged syndicates.


The Local Land Review, Regulatory and Arbitration Board is composed of the following: City Mayor – Chairperson; City Vice Mayor – Vice Chairperson; SP Committee Chairperson on City Land Use – Member; SP Committee Chair on Laws – Member; SP Committee Chair on Urban Poor – Member; Regional Director of NCIP – Member; Regional Director of DENR – Member;

Ang uban pang miyembro mao ang IP representative sa SP; City Legal Office; CPDO; Association of Barangay Captains President and the head of the City Cultural Affairs Office.

Suporta sa Modelo program gihangyo

Gihangyo ang suporta sa mga barangay kapitan sa dakbayan alang sa implementasyon sa Modelo program sa lokal nga kagamhanan sa GenSan.

Ang Modelo Project us aka inisiyatibo sa lokal nga ehekutibo alang pagkuha sa partisipasyon sa komunidad alang sa kinatibuk-ang pagtuon sa mga kabataan sa GenSan.

Si Kagawad Roslita T. Nunez ang miduso sa Resolution No. 617 nga nagahangyo sa mga barangay captains og tanang opisyaler sa dakbayan sa paghatag og suporta sa implementasyon sa Modelo Program.

Gihangyo sab ang suporta ni Kag. Rogelio D. Pacquiao nga mao’y presidente sa Liga ng Mga Barangay sa dakbayan.

Matod pa sa maong resolution nga karon na ang higayon nga suportahan kini nga programa kung asa ang mga kabataan dinhi sa dakbayan pwede na nga makatagamtam og de kalidad nga “learning environment” nga mao’y makasulbad sa mga suliran kalabaot sa sistemang pang-edukasyon sa dakbayan (CPIO).

Gipasar na sa Sangguniang Panlungsod sa miaging 63rd Regular Session ang Resolution No. 630 nga naghatag og “concurrence” sa appointment ni Engr. Mark Reyes.

Si Engr. Juan Marco Antonio V. Reyes na ang department head II sa Office of the Building Official o OBO.

Ang OBO usa sa pipila ka mga bag-ong gimugna sa lokal nga kagamhanan sa GenSan. Kini mao’y nagaatiman sa mga aplikasyon alang sa building permits sa mga itukod nga mga gambalay sa dakbayan.

Sa laing bahin, gipasar usab sa Sangguniang Panlungsod sa imaging 62nd regular session niini ang Resolution No. 627 nga naghatag og “concurrence” sa appointment ni Ms. Leah Y. Tolimao, MBM.

Si Ms. Tolimao na ang bag-ong department head II sa Human Resource and Development Office o HRMDO .

Siya naghupot og Masters Degree on Business Management og kanhi Chief of Staff sa buhatan sa alkalde.

Ubos sa iyang liderato, gilaoman nga aduna’y mga kabag-ohan alang sa kaayohan sa mga empleyado sa lokal nga kagamhanan.

Mga kawani sa city hall may health care coverage na

Aduna nay health care coverage ang mga regular nga empleyado sa city hall.

Kini human gilagdaan ang Memo of Agreement tali sa Philippine British Assurance Company, Inc. (PBACI) og lokal nga kagamhanan adlaw’ng lunes, Oktubre 27, 2014.

Milagda sa maong MOA mao ang marketing manager sa PBACI nga si Bonifacio Solomon og Mayor Ronnel C. Rivera alang sa city government sa Gensan.

Matod ni Mr. Jong Facurib, ang presidente sa General Santos City Government Employees Association o GSCGEA, ang coverage matag empleyado mokabat sa P90,000 per illness og halos tanan nga tertiary hospital sa Gensan ang accredited.

Dugang niini nga gasto tanan sa lokal nga kagamhanan kini nga health care coverage sa mga empleyado sa city hall.

Matod sab ni Mayor Rivera nga gihatan gyud og prioridad sa iyahang administrasyon ang health care coverage sa mga kawani sa lokal nga kagamhanan.

Tumong niini mao ang pag review sa mga land holdings aron masulbad ang mga problema kalabot sa mga yuta og ang pagpatitulo niini.

Nasayran nga ubay ubay na nga mga problema ang mitumay kalabot sa mga pagpatitulo sa mga kayutaan sa dakbayan apil na ang mga gialegar nga mga peke nga titulo.

Masayran nga ang pag proseso sa mga pagpatitulo og yuta kasagaran naagi sa mga buhatan sa kagamhanan sama sa Department of Environment and Natural Resources, National Commission on Indigenous People ug Department of Agrarian Reform.

Tumong niini nga mapalig-on ug hiniusang mapangitaan og sulbad ang mga suliran nga nasinatian og giatubang sa pagpadagan sa ilang negosyo.

Alayon usan niini ang planong paghatag og suporta sa lokal nga kagamhanan sa sector sa mga anaa sa “inland fisheries”.

Nasayran nga hugot karon ang pagtabang sa lokal nga kagamhanan kanila pinaagi sa komitiba ni Kag. Brix T. Tan nga mao ang Committee on Fisheries, Marine Life and Aquatic Resources.

Giduso karon ng Kag. Tan ang us aka resolution – “Resolution Supporting the Establishment of a Responsive and Well-Represented Organization among the Inland Fisheries Stakeholders in General Santos City”.

Planong sab sa maabtikon nga konsehal ang pagpahigayon sa 1st National Freshwater Aquaculture Congress karong bulan sa Nobyembre dinhi sa GenSan.

Ipahigayon sa Barangay Calumpang adlaw’ng biyernes Oktubre 17, 2014 ang Barangayan (21st Phase).

Kini ang ikaduha nga bisitahon sa mga personahe og opisyales sa dakbayan human gisugdan na pud sa miaging Oktubre 3, 2014 ang Barangayan diha sa barangay Fatima sa pagpanguna ni GenSan Mayor Ronnel Chua Rivera.

Nag unang serbisyo nga ihatod sa katawhan sa Calumpang mao ang libreng medical og dental services og libreng mga tambal o medicina.

Sama sa naandan, magpahigayon og libreng konsulta ang mga doctor gikan sa City Health Office og sa City Hospital.

Samtang ang City Engineer’s Office magpadala og mga heavy equipments sama sa grader, payloader og dumptrucks aron gamiton sa mga pag repair sa pipila ka dalan og paghatod sa mga graba og yuta.

Kambyohan usab ang pipila ka mga daut nga streetlights pinaagi sa mga taga CEO og SOCOTECO II.

Nangandam na sab ang Integrated Barangay Affairs Office alang niining Barangayan sa Calumpang nga usa sa pinakadako nga barangay sa GenSan.

Ginalaoman ang presencia ni Mayor Ronnel C. Rivera og City Administrator Atty. Arnel Zapatos sa Barangayan sa Calumpang sa adlaw’ng biyernes.

TF-LPG wala’y nakumpiska na tangke sa LPG na kulang sa timbang

Wala’y nakumpiska na tangke sa LPG na kulang sa timbang sa gipahigayon nga inspeksiyon sa miaging Lunes, Oktubre 14, 2014.

Matod pa ni Assistant City Administrator Engr. Teody Dumagan, kini nagapakita nga wala na’y mga LPG outlet ang nagabaligya og tangke na kulang sa timbang.

Dili pareha sa imaging quarterly inspection sa imaging Marso 26, 2014 kung asa unom (6) ka mga tangke sa LPG na kulang sa timbang ang nakumpiska sa Task Force LPG.

Tungod sa aktibo nga kampanya sa task force namenosan na ang pagbaligya sa mga LPG nga kulang sa timbang.

Sumala sa Ordinansa, and multa sa 1st offense mokabat sa P1,000 matag tangke samtang ang 2nd offense adunay multa nga P2,000 kada tangke.

Ang pagbaligya og underfilled o kulang sa timbang nga LPG usa ka violation sa Section 6 sa City Ordinance No.2, s. 2006.

Gihatagan usab og warning ang duha ka dealer nga nasuta nga nagabaligya of refilled butane canisters.

Matod pa sa taga Department of Energy nga delikado ang paggamit sa maong mga refilled butane canisters.

GenSan weekend bazaar opens Oct. 17

General Santos City – GenSan Weekend Bazaar is set to open this coming October 17, 2014, 8:00 p.m. at Pioneer Avenue.

According to the GSC Tuna Foundation Inc. the weekend bazaar aims to bring back to life Pioneer avenue which was then the city’s commercial center way back in the ‘70s.

This will be open for business every Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 6 p.m. Stalls will be put up along the stretch of Pioneer avenue.

Shoppers can choose from a variety of goods on sale such as RTW’s, souvenir items, dry goods and other products of GenSan.

Customers and visitors can also unwind and enjoy at the bazaar with the presence of nightly entertainment to be provided by popular singers and bands. Food and drinks are also available at affordable price.

Security personnel will also be deployed in the weekend bazaar to ensure safety of the customers and visitors. (cpio)
