This is to notify all prize recipients of the Lagao Youth Festival 2026 that the claiming of prizes is scheduled as follows:

Date: August 22, 2026 (Saturday)
Time: 2:00 PM onwards
Venue: Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) Lagao Office

Claiming Requirements:
-All recipients are strictly required to present and submit two (2) photocopies of a valid ID upon claiming.
-For inquiries or further details, please visit or message the SK Lagao Office. Thank you for your cooperation and participation!

𝗡𝗔𝗞𝗔𝗥𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗡𝗔!

Minsan, akala natin tapos na. Minsan, akala natin hanggang dito na lamang. May mga paglalakbay na hindi naman talaga natin piniling tapusin, ngunit may mga sandaling kailangan nating humakbang palayo upang maunawaan kung saan ba talaga tayo patungo.

Sa bawat paghayo, may iniwang alaala. May mga salitang hindi nasabi, mga kamay na binitawan, at mga damdaming kahit pilit nating isara ay patuloy pa ring kumakatok sa puso. Hindi naman madali ang pakikibaka sa pag-ibig. Sapagkat ang pagmamahal sa tunay nitong anyo ay mapagpalaya, tulad ng paglalakbay, ay hindi laging may malinaw na direksyon. Minsan, naliligaw tayo. Minsan, bumabalik sa pinanggalingan. At minsan, kailangan nating magpatuloy kahit hindi natin alam kung saan hahantong.

Ngunit marahil, iyon ang hamon ng bawat paghayo: 𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗺𝗮𝘁𝘂𝘁𝗼𝗻𝗴 𝗺𝗮𝗴𝗹𝗮𝗸𝗯𝗮𝘆 𝗸𝗮𝗵𝗶𝘁 𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗶 𝘁𝗶𝘆𝗮𝗸 𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗱𝘂𝗹𝗼.

Maaari tayong maligaw sa pagitan ng pag-asa at pagtanggap, sa pagitan ng pananatili at pag-alis, ngunit palaging may munting karayom sa loob natin na patuloy na nagtuturo kung ano ang mahalaga.

Kaya ang bawat paghayo ay hindi lamang tungkol sa pag-alis. Ito ay tungkol sa paghahanap ng direksyon. Sa paghahanap ng sarili. Sa pag-alam kung ano ang dapat bitawan at kung ano ang dapat dalhin sa susunod na paglalakbay.

Dahil ang kabataan, tulad ng pag-ibig, ay isang paglalakbay. Patuloy na naghahanap, patuloy na nangangarap, at patuloy na humahayo—kahit hindi pa natin alam kung saan tayo dadalhin ng ating mga yapak.

𝗜𝗡 𝗣𝗛𝗢𝗧𝗢𝗦 | 𝗝𝗨𝗡𝗜𝗢𝗥 𝗕𝗔𝗥𝗔𝗡𝗚𝗔𝗬 𝗢𝗙𝗙𝗜𝗖𝗜𝗔𝗟𝗦 𝗕𝗢𝗢𝗧𝗖𝗔𝗠𝗣 𝗔𝗡𝗗 𝗜𝗠𝗠𝗘𝗥𝗦𝗜𝗢𝗡 🇵🇭

The Junior Barangay Officials (JBO) Bootcamp and Immersion was held on August 16, 2026 at PadPao Hall, Barangay Lagao Compound, bringing young leaders together for a day of learning, leadership development, and hands-on exposure to barangay governance.

The morning session featured 𝗠𝘀. 𝗗𝗼𝗿𝗼𝘁𝗵𝘆 𝗦𝗶𝗹𝘃𝗮, who equipped the Junior Barangay Officials with essential insights on 𝘀𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽 and the technicalities of crafting barangay resolutions. The session emphasized that leadership is not simply about holding a position, but about understanding responsibilities, serving others, and making informed decisions.

Following the learning session, the JBOs participated in an 𝗶𝗺𝗺𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗮𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗕𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗮𝘆 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱, visiting different offices and gaining a closer look at how local government services and operations work behind the scenes.

In the afternoon, 𝗠𝘀. 𝗚𝗿𝗲𝗷𝗶𝗲 𝗟𝗼𝘂 𝗠𝗲𝗿𝗰𝗮𝗱𝗼 opened the JBOs' perspective to 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗼𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀, introducing various platforms and avenues where young people can connect, learn, collaborate, and participate beyond their local communities.

The session became even more meaningful with the presence of 𝗔𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗲𝗾𝗮, an exchange student from Indonesia under the 𝗔𝗙𝗦 𝗔𝘀𝗶𝗮-𝗞𝗮𝗸𝗲𝗵𝗮𝘀𝗵𝗶 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺, who shared an international perspective and gave the JBOs an opportunity to appreciate cultural exchange and global youth connections.

The day concluded with a 𝘀𝗲𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗿 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸𝘀𝗵𝗼𝗽 𝗼𝗻 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗹𝗶𝗮𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗰𝗲𝗱𝘂𝗿𝗲 facilitated by 𝗠𝘀. 𝗖𝗮𝘁𝗵𝗹𝗲𝗮 𝗞𝗹𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗦𝗶𝗻𝗴𝗰𝗼. Putting their learning into practice, the Junior Barangay Officials were challenged to conduct a 𝗺𝗼𝗰𝗸 𝗺𝗲𝗲𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴, allowing them to apply parliamentary rules, build confidence in deliberation, and experience the responsibilities of participating in a formal meeting.

From serving the community, understanding local governance, discovering international opportunities, to practicing parliamentary procedure, the JBO Bootcamp and Immersion reminded every young official that leadership is a continuous journey of learning and service.

𝗜𝗡 𝗣𝗛𝗢𝗧𝗢𝗦 | 𝗚𝗔𝗕𝗜 𝗡𝗚 𝗣𝗔𝗚𝗞𝗜𝗟𝗔𝗟𝗔 🌟

The Lagao Youth Festival 2026 officially came to a meaningful close on August 15, 2026, with the 𝗚𝗮𝗯𝗶 𝗻𝗴 𝗣𝗮𝗴𝗸𝗶𝗹𝗮𝗹𝗮—an evening dedicated to celebrating the talents, leadership, passion, and achievements of the kabataang Lagaoeno.

The grand closing and awarding ceremony highlighted the recognition of the 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗢𝘂𝘁𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗴 𝗟𝗮𝗴𝗮𝗼𝗲𝗻𝗼 (TOYL) Awards 2026, alongside the awarding of winners and participants from the various Lagao Youth Festival activities—from 𝗔𝗻𝗴 𝗣𝗮𝗴𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗼𝗹 to 𝗛𝗶𝗺𝗶𝗴 𝗮𝘁 𝗛𝗮𝘁𝗮𝘄. Each award became a testament to the dedication, creativity, and courage of young people who stepped forward and took their place in the circle.

The evening also featured the inspiring journey of the delegates of the 𝗟𝗮𝗴𝗮𝗼 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗴 𝗖𝗶𝗿𝗰𝗹𝗲 𝗖𝗮𝗺𝗽, whose experiences throughout the festival reflected the heart of LYF 2026: building connections, strengthening leadership, promoting peace, and empowering young people to become active contributors to the community.

In his closing message, 𝗛𝗼𝗻. 𝗝𝗮𝗻 𝗠𝗶𝗸𝗼 𝗦. 𝗔𝘃𝗶𝗹𝗮, SK Chairperson expressed hope that the festival would open new doors and opportunities for every kabataang Lagaoeno, to dream bigger, discover their potential, and continue making meaningful contributions to the community.

As the lights of the festival dimmed, the spirit of the circle remained: stronger connections, new friendships, shared dreams, and a renewed commitment to a brighter future.

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗟𝗮𝗴𝗮𝗼 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗵 𝗙𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗮𝗹 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 may have come to an end, but the journey of the kabataang Lagaoeno continues.
