Two days of learning, preparedness, and action.

The Sangguniang Kabataan of Barangay Tinagacan successfully conducted its 2-Day Emergency Response Training and Basic Fire Safety, equipping our youth with essential knowledge and practical skills to respond effectively during emergencies.

Our sincere appreciation to the General Santos City Fire Station, represented by FO3 Henry T. Sebios and FO1 Cleomark D. Tapaya, for sharing their expertise and guiding our participants through important lessons and hands-on activities on emergency response and fire safety.

This training goes beyond learning what to do—it is about developing prepared, responsible, and resilient young people who are ready to respond when their community needs them most.

Because in times of emergency, preparedness can make all the difference.

The Sangguniang Kabataan of Barangay Tinagacan issues this statement to clarify the process behind our tournament guidelines and address circulating concerns regarding fairness, rule changes, and transparency. All mechanics were developed through inclusive consultation: beginning with a general coordination meeting, followed by a dedicated guidelines assembly open to PKK officers, purok officials, coaches, and youth representatives—where drafts were presented, inputs discussed, revisions agreed upon, and the finalized draft duly acknowledged and signed by attending representatives.

Once completed, the official guidelines were properly circulated through designated channels and official groups so they may be shared fully with every team and participant. Every step—from drafting to approval—was carried out together with community representatives; no rules were imposed unilaterally. We remain committed to fair standards, open dialogue, and equal treatment for all, and respectfully ask that valid concerns be raised through proper channels while distinguishing constructive feedback from unsubstantiated claims or personal remarks. Together, let us uphold sportsmanship, respect, and unity throughout our activities. — Sangguniang Kabataan ng Barangay Tinagacan.
