๐๐ผ๐ป. ๐๐น๐ถ๐๐ฎ๐ฏ๐ฒ๐๐ต ๐. ๐๐ฎ๐ด๐ผ๐ป๐ผ๐ฐ, ๐ ๐๐ ๐, ๐๐ฃ๐, City Councilor and Chairperson of the Committee on Fisheries, shared an inspirational message with 1,981 farmer and fisherfolk beneficiaries during the ๐ฃ๐ฟ๐ฒ๐๐ถ๐ฑ๐ฒ๐ป๐๐ถ๐ฎ๐น ๐๐๐๐ถ๐๐๐ฎ๐ป๐ฐ๐ฒ ๐ณ๐ผ๐ฟ ๐๐ฎ๐ฟ๐บ๐ฒ๐ฟ๐ ๐ฎ๐ป๐ฑ ๐๐ถ๐๐ต๐ฒ๐ฟ๐ณ๐ผ๐น๐ธ ๐ฃ๐ฟ๐ผ๐ด๐ฟ๐ฎ๐บ (๐ฃ๐๐๐๐ฃ) ๐๐ถ๐๐๐ฟ๐ถ๐ฏ๐๐๐ถ๐ผ๐ป ๐๐ฎ๐ฟ๐ฎ๐๐ฎ๐ป, an initiative of the Department of Agriculture, which provided โฑ2,300 in financial assistance to each beneficiary.
The distribution caravan was made possible through the collaborative efforts of the Department of Agriculture Region XII, under the leadership of Regional Executive Director John B. Pascual, DVM; the DA Regional Field Office XII, represented by Joy Misterio, Chief of APCO Sargen, DA XII; the Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (BFAR) Region XII; and the City Agriculturist Office, headed by Acting Department Head Maโam Elsie Villanueva.
The activity was also graced by distinguished city officials who extended their support to the program and its beneficiaries. Hon. Lorelie G. Pacquiao, City Mayor, delivered the Message of Support, while Hon. Richard L. Atentido, City Councilor and Chairperson of the Committee on Agriculture, delivered the Welcome Remarks.
The PAFFP Distribution Caravan reflects the continued commitment of the government and its partner agencies to providing meaningful assistance, strengthening support systems, and uplifting the lives and livelihoods of our hardworking farmers and fisherfolk.
Through programs such as this, we recognize the invaluable contribution of our agricultural and fisheries sectors to food security, sustainable livelihoods, and the continued development of our communities.
