๐—ฃ๐—ผ๐—น๐—ถ๐—ฐ๐—ฒ ๐—ฅ๐—ฒ๐—ด๐—ถ๐—ผ๐—ป๐—ฎ๐—น ๐—ข๐—ณ๐—ณ๐—ถ๐—ฐ๐—ฒ ๐Ÿญ๐Ÿฎ - A 45-year-old woman known by the alias โ€œKoriโ€ was arrested in a buy-bust operation conducted by the Koronadal City Police Station City Drug Enforcement Unit (CPDEU-KCPS), in coordination with the South Cotabato Police Provincial Office Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit (SCPPO-PPDEU) and the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency Regional Office 12 (PDEA 12), on August 4, 2026, in Barangay Topland, Koronadal City. The operation was carried out under a valid PDEA pre-operation authority after the suspect allegedly sold a sachet of suspected shabu worth โ‚ฑ500 to an undercover police operative.

During the operation, authorities recovered three sachets containing suspected shabu with an estimated total weight of approximately five grams and an estimated standard drug price of โ‚ฑ34,000, along with the marked buy-bust money. The suspect is currently under the custody of the Koronadal City Police Station and is facing charges for violations of Sections 5 and 11, Article II of Republic Act 9165, otherwise known as the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.

PNP NABS EIGHT TOP 3 MOST WANTED PERSONS IN SUSTAINED OPERATIONS

The Philippine National Police (PNP) intensified its nationwide campaign against wanted persons, leading to the arrest of eight individuals listed as the No. 1, No. 2, and No. 3 Most Wanted Persons in their respective Police Regional Offices during separate law enforcement operations on August 3, 2026.

Among those arrested were the No. 1 Most Wanted Person of Police Regional Office 6, apprehended in Anilao, Iloilo for three counts of Qualified R**e of a Minor; the No. 1 Most Wanted Person of the National Capital Region, arrested in Manila for Murder; and the No. 1 Most Wanted Person of Police Regional Office 10, captured in Bukidnon for five counts of Qualified R**e and two counts of Acts of Lasciviousness.

Police also arrested the No. 2 Most Wanted Person of Police Regional Office 10 in Misamis Oriental for two counts of Statutory R**e and seven counts of Acts of Lasciviousness; the No. 2 Most Wanted Person of Police Regional Officeโ€“Negros Island Region in Negros Occidental for four counts of Qualified R**e; and another No. 2 Most Wanted Person of the same region in Negros Oriental for two counts of Statutory Acts of Lasciviousness and Sexual Assault.

Meanwhile, separate manhunt operations also resulted in the arrest of the No. 3 Most Wanted Person of Police Regional Office 6 in Capiz for two counts of R**e and five counts of Lascivious Conduct, and the No. 3 Most Wanted Person of Police Regional Office 10 in Misamis Occidental for R**e and five counts of violation of Republic Act No. 7610.

All eight individuals were arrested by virtue of valid warrants of arrest and are now under the custody of the respective operating units pending appropriate legal proceedings.

The successful operations underscore the PNP's continuing commitment to locating and arresting wanted persons through intelligence-driven and coordinated law enforcement efforts under the Enhanced Managing Police Operations (EMPO) pillar of the PNP Focused Agenda.

The campaign also supports the directive of President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. to strengthen peace and order and ensure that justice remains accessible to every Filipino community.

PNP Chief, Police General Jose Melencio C. Nartatez Jr., commended the operating units for their dedication and professionalism in carrying out the operations.

PNP SEIZES โ‚ฑ3.8-M WORTH OF SMUGGLED CI******ES IN DAVAO ORIENTAL

Philippine National Police (PNP) continues to strengthen its campaign against smuggling after authorities confiscated an estimated โ‚ฑ3.835 million worth of smuggled ci******es during an operation in Barangay Manikling, San Isidro, Davao Oriental on August 3, 2026.

The operation, carried out through the coordinated efforts of the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG), the San Isidro Municipal Police Station, and the Regional Intelligence Unit 11, led to the arrest of two Filipino suspects, aged 41 and 18. Authorities recovered 59 master cases of smuggled ci******es, which were turned over for proper documentation and disposition while the arrested individuals remain under police custody for the filing of appropriate charges.

The successful operation forms part of the PNP's intensified law enforcement efforts under its Focused Agenda, particularly through Enhanced Managing Police Operations, aimed at disrupting illegal activities that undermine legitimate trade and deprive the government of lawful revenues. These sustained initiatives also support the directive of President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. to strengthen border security, protect lawful businesses, and uphold economic stability.

Chief PNP, Police General Jose Melencio C. Nartatez Jr., commended the operating units for their coordinated action and emphasized the importance of continued vigilance against smuggling activities.

POLICE STATION 5 SERVES WARRANT OF ARREST AGAINST TOP 8 MOST WANTED PERSON (CITY LEVEL)

In line with the intensified campaign against wanted persons, personnel of Police Station 5 under the direct supervision of the PMAJ JERIE MAE A DE LEON, Station Commander, successfully served a Warrant of Arrest against the Top 8 Most Wanted Person (City Level) for Violation of the New Anti-Carnapping Act of 2016 on August 4, 2026.

The accused was properly informed of the nature of the warrant and his constitutional rights in a language known to him, and all documentation, fingerprinting, and booking procedures were conducted in accordance with established operational guidelines.

The operations, led by the Pikit Municipal Police Station, Kidapawan City Police Station, and Polomolok Municipal Police Station, resulted in the confiscation of โ‚ฑ3,020.00 in cash bets and assorted gambling paraphernalia. The suspects were caught engaging in illegal cockfighting ("Pawakan"), the card game "Tong-its," and an unauthorized "Perya Balls Game." Appropriate charges for violation of Presidential Decree No. 1602 are being prepared against the arrested individuals.

PBGEN ALAN B MANIBOG, Acting Regional Director of PRO 12, emphasized that the campaign against illegal gambling remains part of the organization's commitment to keeping communities peaceful and law-abiding. "Hindi natin hahayaan na maging pugad ng ilegal na sugal ang ating mga komunidad.
