๐Ÿ‘๏ธ See Clearly, Live Fully: Eye Health Summit 2026

Sometimes, helping a learner see clearly means giving them more than just a pair of eyeglassesโ€”it means giving them a better chance to learn, dream, and see a brighter future. ๐Ÿ’š๐Ÿ‘“

The City Eye Health Team conducted the Eye Health Summit 2026, themed โ€œSee Clearly, Live Fully: Promoting Early Screening and Better Eye Health.โ€

Our DepEd Nurses began with vision screening among learners, identifying those who needed further assessment. These learners were then referred for comprehensive eye check-ups, and those who qualified were provided with prescription eyeglasses.

Through the generosity of the Community Pediatrics Society of the Philippines, Philippine Pediatric Society, and Philippine Medical Association, 58 learners received eyeglassesโ€”a simple gift that can make a meaningful difference in how they see the classroom, read their lessons, and experience the world around them. ๐Ÿฅน๐Ÿ’š

Because every child deserves the chance to see clearly, learn fully, and dream without limits.

๐ŸŽ‰MASS DRUG ADMINISTRATION PARA SA SOIL-TRANSMITTED HELMINTHIASIS (MDA-STH) DEWORMING KICK-OFF

Matagumpay na inilunsad ng Department of Education โ€“ Schools Division of General Santos City, katuwang ang Department of Health (DOH), City Health Office, at City Government of General Santos, ang Mass Drug Administration para sa Soil-Transmitted Helminthiasis (MDA-STH) Deworming Kick-Off sa Romana C. Acharon Integrated School.

Naging makabuluhan ang programa sa pamamagitan ng mga mensahe ng suporta mula sa mga kinatawan ng DepEd, lokal na pamahalaan, City Health Office, at DOH, na muling nagpatibay sa kanilang iisang layunin na pangalagaan ang kalusugan ng bawat mag-aaral sa pamamagitan ng ligtas at epektibong deworming.

Isa sa mga tampok ng programa ang Ceremonial Deworming, kung saan hindi lamang ang mga piling mag-aaral ang uminom ng gamot pampurga. Bilang pagpapakita ng kanilang buong suporta at pagtitiwala sa programa, ang mga opisyal ng DepEd, Department of Health (DOH), at City Health Office ay nakiisa rin sa pag-inom ng gamot pampurga. Ang kanilang pakikiisa ay nagsilbing patunay ng kanilang tiwala sa kaligtasan at bisa ng deworming program, na naghihikayat sa mga magulang, mga mag-aaral, at buong komunidad na suportahan ang programang ito para sa mas malusog na kinabukasan ng ating mga kabataan.

Sa sama-samang pagkilos ng DepEd, DOH, City Health Office, at iba pang mga katuwang, patuloy nating isinusulong ang isang henerasyon ng mga mag-aaral na malusog, ligtas, at handang matuto.
